they say this 800-657-1377 belongs to merick bank they call all day long i'm reprting to FCC

YEP, first time today and will be last time today.

They Claim to be Merrck Bank, but looking at Merrick Banks profile this number does not appear. The one time we got a live agent they demanded money from us, not even knowing  what my address is. Foreigner obviously not in the U.S.  This means only one thing, this is a shake scam. They extort money from you with pressure tactics. I never heard of Merrick bank and never even seen an email or letter from them. Don't be conned they will ask for a credit card number SSI and the usual.

This is an old thread from what I've seen so far but this number still calls and I just got a call at 11:30PM, which I thought was too late (by law) for collection companies to contact you. Fortunately, I have a call blocker so only a few people who I choose to let through even affect me, so I just see their missed calls despite the number they use..and I haven't set up my voicemail die to a stalker situation, so it's literally like nothing happened. However, beware anyone new looking at this thread that they do not follow any time guidelines if they're still in effect.
