They identified themselves as ASDE. it is a survey company in Quebec.  You can web-search that acronym to get more info.

how did they get my number?  My carrier is SaskTel.

Get call blocker.  It works winderfully. Add them to yr blacklist and messagez and theyre gone forrver.  The icon for callblocker has an arrow on the left and a telephone receiver on the right.  The icon is blue and white and stands out .

Got a call during class in the morning.

Spam call from Gatineau QC which doesn't respect CAN-SPAM or privacy laws because they think they're another country. Which in a sense, they are, like a third-world hellhole compared to Canada.

Got one at the same time today in Ottawa Ontario.  My phone was in my pocket and I was on the freeway so I didn't answer.  At least it didn't leave a scam message in my voicemail like some do.....

Just got one today in Nova Scotia! Not a Rogers customer either. The only thing I can think, is I just filled out an online job application that required my phone number. I got the call 20 min after submitting my info.

Received a call from this number on my Virgin mobile at 1:49 PM Vancouver, BC CANADA time but it was a robo call. I didn't catch who it was but hung up after 6 seconds as it was likely a scam.

this number called my phone did not leave a message, I do not answer 1-800 #'s I am in BC, I called back the number and its a research company looking to do surveys! Happy I didnt answer I HATE THOSE!

Survey - said it would only take thirty seconds, but it's faster to hang up right away.
