I just got this message and am glad that i googled it...the only place that i have gone as far as setting up anything bridal is David's Bridal. Its such a shame that they would waste so much time when I have so much stuff to do.

I just got this call yesterday and they left a message with my roomate that I had a dinner for two and to call this 800 number with a confirmation code. I have not been to any bridal shows whatsoever. I have bought my dress from davids bridal so......I'm guessing that's how they got my info. If they call back I am definetly going to tell them they can quit because I am not interested.

Its a scam and they got the number from Daavid's Bridal after I gave them my information. I wont be buying anything from them.... either of them!

I also got a call from this number and they asked me to meet them this Friday. I thought it might be a scam. After reading all these comments, I will definitely not go!

I was excited too. I called back but Oh well. I guess it doesn't matter now. I guess the Jessica person is gone because I got a message from Heather. Called back within 15 minutes and got a voicemail. OH well. I'm really upset because I too purchased my dress and my bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal. I'm sad now but glad that I know what's going on.

I got a call from 931-285-0441 and was told to call and ask for Heather 931-285-0676 both numbers went back to Dinner for two. I'm really upset because I never win anything ;( Oh well at least i know what's going on. I did call back but they don't have any of my real information. I'm really upset with David's Bridal. Really upset. She must think I'm a dummy. My fiance is cheap and we're not buing anything. sad ;(

I figured it was a scam n tried asking them how they got my number and the lady said they get bridal informatiom from many different places like cataloges and bridal shows and things like that. Well i hav been engaged for a month and have not been to any shows or registered for any magazines...ever...the only thing i have done is created an online account with davids bridal. I havnt even been to a shop. So i told her me n my hubby2b were busy this weekend and couldnot attend. They number i got was 608-663-8591.   Kind of saddens me that it def is a scam but i already figure a lot of  things to be lovely world of scams we live in :-/

They called and said me and my wife won a trip to the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, or Mexico.

Got call from a lady saying I had won a wedding page. I returned her message and ask some more question but still very leary. She said that all gift are free no matter what, if we buy or not. We would get vouchers for wedding glasses & Wedding bands as they are personal for names & sizes. Only have to pay shipping and all it would take is a 90min session. Not sure if i'm going to try it. Hey will do almost anything for a freebie. Told her to put my gifts on hold so I can gather more infomation up. Try there own website Dinner4two.com.

Definitely report David's to your local BBB and certainly complain to them as well.
David's is the ONLY place I have done business with that isn't someone #1)small locally owned #2) that I know personally.

Same thing just happened to me!  Angie was calling from Dinner 4 two about some sort of bridal package, with a reference number, etc...  I had not even signed up for anything, so I thought it was sketchy.  I'm glad I googled it before I called back.

I just got a call from them, was almost suckered in, but then realized I should "google" them to see why it sounded to good to be true, and now I know!  We went to a bridal expo today and signed up for literally everything "free" or "to win", this is one I shouldn't have signed up for.

They called from my area code 608-663 8591.

I also got a message on my home phone. I could barely understand the lady but she was claiming that I have won a dinner for two and have to call back at 1 800 676 4731 with the reference number she left. It sounded too fishy for me but I called and I was told to leave my name, phone number and reference number. I DIDN'T. Instead I checked the web and found this forum. I'm glad I did. I am certain it is a SCAM. They probably got my phone from the Yellow Pages. I don't know the number I received the call from since I don't have a called ID but I saw some posts above from people living all accross the country which makes things even more suspecious. BTW, I live in Rochester, NY.

Hi, I have just gotten a call from 608-663-8591 and they left a message on my voicemail. After calling back the number they gave me 1-800-676-4731 I was told that their company is called 'Dinner 4 two' and that I have received a romantic getaway package with a bridal package. They informed me that they would pay for everything but I would have to pay for the air fair. They then said if I attend their presentation, not only would I get the honeymoon trip but I would also receive wedding bands as well but I had to pay shipping and processing. After asking the lady how they got my number, she told me I registered at a bridal show (which I have never been to) or at a bridal salon. I eventually got the lady to tell me that they got my information from Davids Bridal. I told the lady I could not make the presentation and she said she would call back at a later time. After hanging up, I immediately called Davids bridal and asked them about the company 'Dinner 4 Two' and the manager informed me that the company is real and that it is one of their vendors. The manager then told me that it's legit and that her friend went along with this. She said the only catch was you have to sit through an hour and a half presentation before they give you anything! I know it's some kind of sales pitch to get you to buy expensive silverware or cookware and I do not think I am going to call back.

I got a call from the same number. Called them back requesting to know where they obtained my phone number from as my number is a private number and is on the do not call list. I asked to speak with a manager and made sure to stay very nice on the phone. The girl I talked to hung up on me when she said she was going to speak with her manager.

I got the same call and you want to know what pisses me off about it if David's Bridal wants your business why would they give your name to a company for a scam to force you buy cookware that is to expensive and that  you probably don't need! Makes me not want to buy my dress from David's Bridal or buy my other dresses for my party.

So this is a caller from "Dinner For Two", his name was James and he was really nice. I have recently registered on TheKnot.com for my upcoming wedding. He said that I had won a Honeymoon. I could choose between 3 packages: Matching Wedding bands, a honey moon trip (mexico, Bahamas, or the Dominican Republic) or the final package which was also to a honey moon but to select locations in the USA. He said "the only catch is that your fiance' and you have to attend a bridal show were we give a small presentation on china and cookware, together. You both MUST attend. You will receive two Champagne flutes with your names and wedding date engraved on them just for coming." I tried to ask all the right questions to get the answers I needed in order to determine if this is a scam or not.

It seemed too good to be true so I researched them. Turns out they call a ton of people and only a few had good things to say. When I asked James about how many people actually win this, he replied that Thousands of people are submitted and they choose 10% of the entries.
I went online and entered this compnay in and found a few forums that popped up wit their name.  All of the stories were almost identical to mine. "I got this call....won a honey moon...attend a bridal show...is this real?"
But what most had in common was that many had attended the show (I mean come on, who wouldn't? You think you have won a honeymoon.) and the presentation and the salesmen are pushy and they really try to push you into buying their product. Apparently the price tags on these items are outrageous. From what I have read, many people get up and walk out and don't even stay to the end.  I have read only a handful of people who stay to the end and they receive the packages that they were promised. Many of them who stay, say that they purchased the product though and then received the packages. So if you are asking "Do I actually have to buy their product to get the honey moon?" I do not know. I am attending tonight and I plan to stay to the end just so I can find out for sure if you have to purchase the product in order to get your "Free Honey moon package". I hope this helps some of you who are getting these calls and maybe you can decide for yourself if it is a scam. Best of luck to you!

If you registerd on David's Bridal, TheKnot.com, or Registry sites similar to these then that is how they got your number. Those websites give out your info.

IF you keep getting calls and you don't want them then tell them to remove you from their calling log.

I got a call today and thought it was a scam, but was a tiny bit excited, so I had to do a bunch of research before I could let my conscience rest. Turns out, my instinct was right--total scam.

From what I discovered, Chef Master is a "company" that does marketing for Dinner for Two which is an outfit of another company called Royal Prestige. After not being able to find much information on Chef Master (how convenient), I looked up Royal Prestige and found a TON of forums about the scams. I'm thinking they are using the name Chef Master so that when you look them up, you can't find any negative posts about them.

Just google Royal Prestige...you'll get a lot of info.
