- SabrinaI also got a phone call from them, claiming I won a vacation package and glassware. I was so excited, because I had recently won a legit drawing from David's Bridal, and thought I won something else. The woman seemed very nice, and I totally fell for it. Everything seemed legit, and I didn't become suspicious until I found this thread. Now I know this must be a scam. I was told to go to a local hotel on November 8th, and listen to a 90 minute presentation on their cookware products. She said after the presentation was over, I would receive my package and could leave. She told me I wouldn't have to pay for anything, and that the package would be free. After looking at this consumer complaints website, I realize this is one big scam.

- WhitneyI have been recieving calls from Dinner4two for days now claiming I had been chosen to recieve a bridal gift package. I had also been getting texxt messages from this company which I found a little weird and un professional. I called and spoke to a woman named trena who said I wouldn't have any obligation to buy anything after the presentation was over. I was very excited because she told me I won ;
A.) 3 day 2 night Hotel stay at over 25 locations good until June2013 or a gift card from jvljewelry.com for two complementary Tungsten wedding bands of your choice.
B.) Passport to Value Certificate that includes a 1 year online membership to save you money on groceries, travel, restaurants , and more.
C.) A $50 Merchandise Certificate good towards any Dinner4Two products plus a set of aprons for cooking or grilling out together!
D.)A chance to win a 2011 Harley Sportster!
And to recieve all these gifts I would just have to attend withmy fiance, and sit through a 90 minute presentation on cookware, where they would also be cooking that night so we could sample. They claimed to do alot of wedding expos in our area (which is charleston WV). I have never heard of them before I registered for Davids Bridal and went in to make an appt. I also registered for TheKnot.com.
I was very excited to actually think I won a great prize for me and my fiance, but I dont think I will be attending tomorrow. Im pretty sure this is a SCAM and total waste of time. Sorry to burst every ones hopes but reading these forums probably just saved me alot of money in un wanted cookware. Hope this helps (:- Caller: Dinner4two
- JessHas anyone actually gone to one of these sales pitches? And if so how did it turn out??
- Engaged replies to AnonymousYes! Me too. Got a message left on my cell phone from Angie, same 800 number, same over-all pitch. I haven't signed up for ANYTHING bridal yet, haven't even bought my dress. But I DID go to David's Bridal to try on some dresses & look around. Yep, David's Bridal asked for my info as soon as I came in. I will NOT shop David's Bridal. What a scam. Preying on unsuspecting brides who are in a whirlwind of activity. I can totally see why they'd do it though- it's a HUGE money-making industry, all the "indispensable" wedding stuff. My husband-to-be & I have an easy solution: We're keeping it SIMPLE! Say NO to this scam!!
- JenI just received a phone call also from this same company. "Tatiana" called my cell phone at 9:00pm on a Sunday! I was promised the wedding bands, toasting glasses, aprons, the 3 day/2 night getaway and a drawing entry to win a motorcycle. She claimed that I would need to sit through a 90 minute presentation, and was not going to be pressured to purchase anything; I would receive my bridal package no matter what. I was really thinking about attending this, but after reading the reviews, I don't think I will. I'm planning a wedding! I don't have any extra money, nor extra time to be wasted with false promises. I still haven't heard from anyone on here whether or not they've attended or gotten the promised packages.
- CharlieI just received my call. We are signed up to go tomorrow night at 8:30. I have decided that we will not even bring our wallets/purses in. I will put up with the hassling as long as I can, because I am a sucker for a freebie! We'll see if we can last the 90 minutes it takes to get our free prizes.. ;)

- GettingMarriedUgh, David's Bridal. They were very unprofessional, and now I'm finding out they gave out my information. Great. I've received the call with the same requests multiple times now. I wonder if I can tell them to stop calling next time. Sounded wayyy too sketchy.

- AnnoyedThey just called me and it definitely a SCAM... DON'T CALL THEM BACK!!!!!
- KassandraI also received a call from a girl names Angie. I didn't quite understand the message buy I gave a call back and they explained everything to me. At first I was a bit skeptical about this, sounds to good to be true. Either way my fiance and I decided to check it out and let me tell you Dinner 4 two is not a scam. They just want to promote their products. I recently attended one of the presentations and I loved it! The guy was very funny and a great speaker! I found myself purchasing some of their products, prices were high but definitely worth it! Some couples didn't even purchase anything but we all left with our bridal packages! I definitely recommended couples to attend!

- Corrie| 1 replyI know this sounds too good to be true, but it's really NOT a scam. I also got this call and was sceptical so the first thing I did was call the hotel to make sure that there was bridal show being held that date and time, and there was. So, I decided to attend. Once you get there, there will be a dinner show. The will try to encourage you to buy the products they are using, but you aren't required to, and they are not pushy or rude if you don't. The dinner show is about an hour and then after, everyone DOES leave there with the free gifts they were promised. The only catch to the honeymoon, is that you have to pay the taxes on it and you also have to pay for your own airfare. But, your stay at the resort (which is beautiful), all your meals, unlimited drinks, and all expeditions are paid for in FULL!! So if you had planned on doing a destataion honeymoon anyways and get this call, it is definitely worth your effort to go to the bridal show!
- Me replies to enrayBoycott David's bridal. I signed up with David's bridal also and just got a call on Saturday (I though that was weird) yep-David's bridal must have sold my info...grrrr!!!!
- Me replies to CorrieI am mad that David's Bridal sold my info.
I am still uneasy about going to this. I know I would go and not buy anything and possibly get the package but, with the all inclusive, do they send you to the "low down" areas or hotels? I dont know if it sounds too good to be true, its probably too good to be true. AND I dont think sitting through a cooking show for an hour is worth an apron and flute glasses as they promised me......what do you think? DID ANYONE TAKE THE ALL INCLUSIVE? ID LIKE MORE INFO ABOUT IT. - krissykins replies to Jamieyou must have signed up at David's Bridal. I get calls from this number and others all the time, they sell your # to EVERYONE
- B. L. replies to KrystalI am registered at David's Bridal as well and just got this phone call too. Not happy about that at all. My appointment with DB is next week, I will be sure to mention this.....
- Mai TindoI just got a call from this number, and i googled you guys up and what a coincidence! same story, I'll get champaigne toasting glasses with my name on them if I go,wedding bands, and a host of other goodies for weddings. Sounds like a scam, smells of a scam, will not go.
