I just got this call. I figure it had to be DAvid's Bridal that gave my info to them. I "signed on" to show up on Sunday but I have NO intention of going. I just listened to his pitch, laughing to myself, because 1) I have a farm full of animals and I don't go ANYWHERE for vacation, 2) I already have my wedding bands, and 3) Crystal? SERIOUSLY? I have two kids under 8 years old in my house and the last thing I need is more glass for them to break. What a load of CRAP.

I got a call from Dinner 4 Two just a few day's ago. It's a good thing that I looked them up online. I didn't sign up for winning anything, except a $500 gift card from Oriental Trading Company. So I called the 1-800 # and they said I won a wedding package. I haven't even been engaged for 2 months yet and I'm already getting these phone calls, give me a break.  When I talked to the lady on the phone, I told her I wanted to know who gave out my information. She told me it had to be a family member or a friend. I called my mother & my sister and they had never herd of Dinner 4 Two. I might just have to have a talk with David's Bridal. I feel sorry for my mother and sister, for the not so happy tone I used with them. I will be telling Dinner 4 Two to take a hike. I have 2 years of weeding planning to do, I don't have time for this.

Literally just got a voicemail from  608-663-8591 telling me I won an engagement package and congrats, asking me to call 800-676-4731.  I'm glad I don't answer unknown callers, and I'm glad I checked online and got to this site before I got too excited...
I haven't been to any bridal shows or given out my phone number to ANYONE...  I know I get emails from David's Bridal, so I must have given them my phone number too.  This is such garbage.

I just got the same call.  So thankful I looked it up and saw all these posts before calling back to "claim my bridal package." I also signed up with David's bridal.  I thought they were an upstanding company but obviously that is not the case.  They have lost all of my business

I signed up with David's Bridal a couple weeks ago and in addition to receiving all kinds of emails for bridal events and shows, I also got this call AT WORK. A woman named "Lilly" said I'd won something. I haven't signed up for any other bridal webpages or in any stores, etc, so I know David's is to blame here. I will be letting them know how displeased I am!!

Same here.  I've been getting phone calls since the end of the summer from a 608 number.  Dozens of calls.  They left me alone for a while, but have started again.  From the most recent voicemail, I was finally able to understand where they were calling from-Dinner for Two!  I decided to look up the number, and I'm amazed at how many people are having the same issue!  The only possible way they could have known is through facebook (although my number is not posted), or David's Bridal (I registered online).  It must be David's Bridal, because it sounds like the same story with everyone.  It's clearly a scam, I hope no one takes them seriously!  My local DB had nothing to do with this, so I'm going to complain higher up.  My upcoming wedding will be one of the happiest days of my life, I don't want to be bothered by spam!

I am assuming that my number was sold to this company from David's Bridal.  I entered a contest on their website and since then I have been getting calls from companies telling me that I have "won" some type of prize.  I never walked into David's Bridal, never purchased anything from them in store or online.

Not sure how they got my number but I recently attend a bridal show like many of the other women who responded to this call. I want them to stop calling me.  I also reported them to the bridal association who brought them in

I gave my info to David's bridal in the summer, never received any calls. Then after attending a Wedding show, where I filled out so many of ballots for draws, I got a call. It's not David's bridal giving out your information, it's definitely you giving it to these people, they usually get it from wedding shows when you fill out all the draw ballots, some are legit and some aren't. I fully remember exactly which booth at the wedding show this was for, and I only filled out the ballot to get a free gift at the time.

I'm curious about this, from what I've read online it sounds like you legitimately get the rings, but have to pay shipping at $25/ring. Now $50 for 2 wedding bands doesn't sound too bad at all, as long as you find ones you like. So now I'm curious if anyone did the demonstration, didn't purchase anything and ordered their 'free' wedding bands, how was the quality and of course did you actually receive the rings.

Well I just got a call from this number " Hi this is Marcy giving a call from Jennifer to have a prayer package for you and your fiance." Umm I am the last person to sign up for a "prayer package" I don't even know what that could be. I have been to two bridal shows one last october and one this past sunday and did not sign up for anything like that.
After reading the other comments I backed out to my search on google and found this site http://wisconsinbridalshows.com/exhibitor.htm ... tegory.id=38611

I never signed up for this or anything like it so I am unsure how they got my information. As far as Davids Bridal goes, I have my email on their site but my phone number is not listed so I don't think it could be. If I am home next time I will answer and get to the bottom of this mess. Just beware!

I received a call from this place this morning. Same thing; low voice, bridal package, etc. I'm pretty upset to see that the link is David's Bridal. Not only was I NOT happy with their "manager," I am not happy AT ALL with this added on.

Exact same experience, and only Davids Bridal had my info. I had a quick and simple wedding, so I only went there once when I bought my dress. Dont think I will be calling. Plus I already had my wedding, and they're just now calling?? okay...

i just got a call that i won a drawing from Davids Bridal, and i get to choose between a 3 night, 2 day trip to the Dominican republic with drinks and meals paid and some excursions, or jewelry, or a trip to one of three states in the US. Skeptical on this, as they said i had to go to the Clarion Hotel in princeton and sit through a 90 minute presentation for ?.

I went through this before with my first engagement... they say congratulations, all you need to do to collect your free honeymoon is come down to a local hotel and 'listen' to our presentation. However, even after buying something, the phone number to set up our package never worked after that day. Don't be the victim like I was those many years ago!
