Got called by a machine at this number, then operator came on and couldn't pronounce my very simple American Name.  When I asked her for her name, it came back with some slurred garbage like "zthoog".  Screw it.  I hung up.  Guessing a collection agency of some sort... but don't be having a machine call me if you can't put an english speaking person on the line.

Stay OFF the phone and AWAY from them. They have a knack for making inncocent peoples' lives miserable.

I get calls from this number many times a day. They won't stop calling. Now I just hit the answer button my cell phone, and immediately hang up.

Caller never says anything and calls before 8:30 am cst and after 8:30pm cst. I am fed up!!!! Calls several times during the day also, calls on Sundays

This number called 5 times in the past 3 hours and it is only 10 am!!!

these calls comes time after time even on Sunday and at night, their not surpose to call me cause i have a credit counselor handleing my credit card

How do i permanently block this number calling me ? sOMETIMES I GET 3-10 CALLS A DAY  this is rediculous!thEY CALL ALL THE WAY UP TO 9:30PM SOMEDAYS ?

I am currently in a dispute with them. They are an illegal PDL company.  When I requested a copy of the contract they say I signed, as well as an invoice to send payment, they fired a snowstorm of e-mails at my account, attempted to ridicule my intelligence with insults (I kid you not), threatened me with arrest for fraud (huh?), called my job repeatedly even after I sent them a cease and desist letter, and then called my home (no idea how they got my home number). My 10 year old son answered. My little boy was told "you better tell your mom to pay us..or else" at which time they hung up on him. These people are nuts. And they're out of their minds if they think I'm going to blindly send them money month after month with no accounting.

these guys are rude dont tell you what company they are calling from dont let you speak to anyone and just hang up on your dont reveal any information to them

These guys are sneaky. They use another similar number to this one;

800-684-8429 is one of the other numbers they use.  Almost exactly the same as this one. SCANDALS

Think I'll have a talk with my local HSBC branch, on why the f--- they are harassing me with these endless auto-dial and hang-up calls. I have NO DEBT anywhere from ANYONE.

This happens way too often, psycho debt collectors call up everybody with a phone, hoping to find someone who actually DOES have debt, will admit it, and send THEM the money to reward them for being obnoxious bloodsucking lunatics.

I'd love to call the president of this company at 3am a dozen times without saying anything, then call up and ask, "Can I speak to..." naming a person who doesn't live there. That's what they do to all of us.

Calls several times a day on my cell phone. I tried to answer the first few times, but only got a dead line.  Now I just send to voice mail.  Very irritating!!

If you have Verizon, you can block the number.  There are also federal rules regarding how many times and at what time collection agency's can call you.

called here on a sunday morning 8:50 am. I don't answer 800 number calls. They left no message.

Haven't had my cell phone turned back on but for 1 day and WOW all of a sudden I am getting a call from this number BLOWING up my CELL phone.  Don't owe anything except my student loans and I think I'm about to sign up for the new Obama plan since I can't seem to find a J-O-B.  ;)  However, I do think it's illegal to call a CELL PHONE and make harassing collection calls isn't it?

dont complain here. Raise your concerns and File a report with the FTC. (more people do it the better it will be get them to stop). Its very easy.... go to the FTC website and click on "File a Complaint" on top, and include your comments. Few simple steps and you can get even with them for harrasing you by getting the FTC people on their case. it works!

P.R.O: I am in a similar boat to you, despite my dislike for the policies of Obama, I am getting close to throwing up my hands and seeing what kind of governmental help I can get in my current situation, perhaps I can get some sort of money so I can make this collectors go away (by paying their annoying [***] off),,

As far as it being illegal to call a cell and making harassing collections calls, technically I do not think it is illegal.

This number called my phone but left no message.  I didn't recognize the number and called back just to see who it was, and I got a recording that stated the satellite mobile customer I was calling was unavailable and that I should leave a message.  Nah...I'll pass...
