Received call today on home phone.  They were talking about a nuclear free Iran according to my son who answered.  I called it back and it said if I received a call from this number that it was a political call and it was exempt from Federal and State Do Not Call Lists.

This number called my office this morning at 11:18. I do not answer numbers with no caller ID name if I do not recognize the number. The caller hung up. No message was left on voice mail.

Just got call from 1-800-684-9641 "unavailable" - some person starting to talk about independent party and hang up.
I am on "do not call" list, why they are still calling???

I called the number back to see who this was calling me.  A voice comes on stating "if you received a call from this number, you have just received a political call to inform you of what is going in your state or local gov't. We adhere to Do Not Call lists guidelines, so please register on the gov't DNC to prevent future calls.".  We are listed on the DNC list and still receive these types of calls - UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Received two back-to-back calls from this number today 8/25. I called number back and a recording answers with "If you are calling this number you have just received a political call. The purpose of the call was to inform you of local and national issues that may affect you....." Added to reject calls.

Obvious boiler room caller who started having a conversation with my answering machine saying her name is Diane and finally hanging up. No mo robo food.

Typical left wing response, can't answer with substance, so you name call.  Now, who is stupid?

Political robocall.. ok folks this is a call from someone running for political office so the do not call list will not work no matter what they say. Politicians are exempt from the law because the whole system is corrupt and bought out. All they have to do is call their elite buddies, or billionaire donors and they get a pass.
Get a call blocker for your phone that blocks 800 numbers, anonymous, and out of area numbers. And of course NEVER call them back. All you are doing is telling them your number is good and they will call you more and sell your number to other organizations so more people can call you. Remember this is the USA and everything about you is for sale without your consent. Companies are making money off selling your info right now even as you read this. A confirmed good phone number is worth more than an unconfirmed number. Just like spam emails, NEVER RESPOND JUST IGNORE AND BLOCK.

I have a service through the phone company that answers their calls and says I am not taking their calls, but they call again, they don't get through to me, but I do have access to a log of all the calls I get, even the blocked ones.

Received the same call today, August 31st 2015 at 1:00 PM and CID displayed "unavailable 800-684-9641" and as usual, no VM was left. Since no VM was left, the call wasn't important to begin with. I don't answer my phone from numbers that I don't reconize, regardless who is calling and if no VM is left, which happens all the time, the call wasn't important to begin with. Sooner or later, these bozos will get the hint and stop calling eventually. It's a shame in this day and age, we have to screen our calls to determine which calls are important and which ones are not.

I actually talked to these guys.  They want to know opinions on the Iran Nuclear deal, I was transferred to my local congressman here in TX to give my two cents on the issue and I had never thought to do that before.  So while some calls are annoying, this one I felt served a great purpose

Have received many calls from this number, but no messages.  Must be another scam!
