- ms. cThis number just called my cell phone, but because it was a 1-800 number, and I did not recognize it, I didn't answer the call. I figured that if the call was an important one, a voice message would be left. However, the caller did not leave a voice mail. I am concerned that this could be an identity thief or something of the sort. I am curious as to how they got my CELL phone number???!!! As I solely give that personal number to friends and family.

- bwlI reported this to the FTC via phone call at 1-877-FTC-HELP.
The web site complaint form and the telephone tree are not very helpful but when I finally got a live person I was transferred to someone to take my complaint.
If you want to try via web, their form starts here: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
Click the big image "FTC Complaint Assistance" upper right.- Caller: Financial Solutions

- smrJust received a call from this number too. The message left was trying to tell me to consolidate my credit cards. Funny thing is, I don't have a dollar of debt!
Scam~ - LaLaI just got a call from this number on my brand new cell phone. It was a vague recording about my credit cards, so I just hung up. I have only given this phone number out to my workplace. Very odd.
- E-RockJust got a call from this number, but I did not pick up. I would have but I missed the call by a second. No voice mail left.
- SteveSame as the other post here, they called me on my corporate phone, into my office, they had to have my personal ext to do that. When I asked the caller what company she was with she hung-up on me.

- Merideth replies to DanSame here ... thanks everyone for the information. I didn't recognize the number so I hit "reject" on my phone and then looked it up.
Besides, if someone is that important, they'd leave a message ... if not ... *shrugs* - ShSame story. I have gotten numerous calls from them and it's always disconnected when I try to call back.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- disturbed store managernext time you get that call, find out what state they're located and contact the better business bureau.
- michael OC, CAReceived call @ 0944, called number thinking it was an important return call and it was DISCONNECTED!
- JRI think this number is tied in with 305-800-1000. Its a land line in FL, and if you want to spend your cash on finding out who it is, you can get a report from any search site you want. I'm going to do something that is probably useless and see if the phone company will block this number along with the 305 number. And yes, I am also on the Do not call list, like that helps me any. So far, between the two numbers I get over fifty calls a week. I think the next time I get a call, I'll answer it from the sheriff's dept. OK wouldn't you know that I got a call from them this second? Its a recording about the credit cards, of which I have none for over three years when I decided I hated being in debt and would just pay cash unless it was a big ticket item and I wanted some protection from my bank. (OK whose laughing at that? Like my bank would provide me with anymore service than they had to) Anyway, supposedly if you press 2, they will no longer call you. So, I'll keep you updated on that.
- boatsaw the 800 and didn't answer.
- joeI took the call this time and let them do their sales call. let them think i was intrested in lower rates. gave them some bogus info then told them to f**k off... she didnt like the fact i wasted 10 min. of their time. [***]... come on FCC do your f**king job......
