- KristySCAM!!!!! PLEASE READ!!!! This number is not on the back of any of my stage cards and this want the number that called me. 614-534-2527 called and told me to call the 1800 number about an important personal matter. When I called 1-800-695-1063 it asked for my CC number. When I call the number on my card to pay my bill, it NEVER ASKS FOR MY CC NUMBER. It asks for the last 4 of my social and the zip code. This is a SCAM!!!! It's trying to get your Credit Card information.
- Caller: It said commenit bank but that is not the number for them.

- Nic| 1 replyI located their website and called that number, not the one on voice mail. I've never heard of this bank and never had a credit card or loan from them. The rep I spoke to ran my number (i called an 800 number guess they have caller ID) and told me I have an account in collections. I explained that I know exactly what accounts I have and my balances. I told her this is not my debt, but I do know there are others with my name and suggested its one of them they need to call and not me - they have the wrong person.
Let's hope the calls stop. Hope this info helped.- Caller: Comenity bank
- BigA replies to NicCalls to 800 numbers cannot be blocked so yes, they can see your number. However, hoping that a phone call will solve the problem is wishful thinking. When dealing with situations such as this the problem should always be handled in writing. In your case it should be a "not me" letter and should be sent certified, return receipt so that you can prove they received it.
- A replies to AmadeusI got a call from this number when I called back it said enter your pin # followed by the pound sign. No way able to talk to a rep. Think this is a scam.came up telemarketer
- QueeniereadsThis umber called me on a Sunday and left a message. I did call back but as soon as they asked for my SS number I said you are a scammer. DO not call again and I hung up. They had all the right sounding taped message and everything. I suggest calling the customer service number on your card if something does not feel right.
- Caller: Commenity
- CuriousNever knew this bank existed until I received the calls. I do not have a credit card with this bank.
- Caller: COMENITY BANK
- GollyRojerI got the same message as above telling me to call the 800 number. However, the call was made from 614-729-6079, which is also identified on 800notes.com as a scam.
I'm not totally convinced this is a scam. I do have an account which is handled by Comenity Bank--Bealls, or something like it, I forget. Ohe poster said it is a legitimate call from them. I think it's highly questionable, but worthy of consideration. I am going to post what another poster said about 614-729-6079.

This number is for WFNNB. World Financial Network National Bank. They handle in-store credit cards like: Victoria Secret, Spiegel, Newport-News, Eddie Bauer, etc. They also call from a Kansas City based number: 913-563-5524.
They are extremely aggressive and obnoxious when seeking to collect debt, late payments, etc., and they use few legal, but MANY, illegal tactics to get money out of you. Insults, harassment, incessant calling, and they refuse to identify who they are when they call. You are within your legal right to ask the caller their name AND business name . If they do NOT tell you who they are, hang up. Also, if they do not tell you who they are, you do not have to identify yourself. EVER. Never identify yourself first to anyone at anytime on the phone.
How to proceed in the future:
1. Caller ID. It will help you log the amount and time of calls. Also gives you the option to pick up or not.
2. Ask/Demand the idenity of the caller and business. If they refuse to identify, hang up. Never identify yourself first. EVER.
3. Stay current on your debts and payments. If you need to disscuss payment and debt options, YOU call the company that you signed up with. That way, you know exactly who you're talking to, where the money is going to go, and when.
And please remember: The retail stores have minimal involvement at the COLLECTING LATE credit card payments and debt level. Be kind to the retail sales people and in-store/company customer service. They are NOT the ones calling you, but they will be more than happy to help you pay on your account(s). WFNNB is the one that is the pain in the [***]. If you feel like bitching, like I'm sure most of you do, call WFNNB and yell at them. That's what they're apparently paying their service help to do, so even if it sounds a little ridiculous, it might make you feel just a tad better, to call them up and tell them to go F*** themselves. (just don't tell them who you are! very important!) LOL!- Caller: Unidentified

- Surly replies to MAM| 3 repliesFor me this was real.
I was behind on my comenity cc tied in my case to Williams Sonoma
I had late fees piling up when I thought I had paid my balance but was 1 day late. Then since I didn't pay the first late fee I got another. I hadn't opened the bill (stupidly) because I thought I had paid it off. They forgave the last late fee. It was really all my fault - MikeHuntleton replies to Surly

Never trust a caller to be who they claim, always call from an official number to verify if they did call. - Tygerkat replies to Surly| 1 reply"For me this was real. So I figured I'd go to a phone number website and tell random strangers I dont pay - or even open! - my bills."
Is that about right, Shill? - WORKING GIRL replies to PatriciaThis is a collections call from comenity bank. They issue department store cards such as wayfair, care credit, gordmans, tj maxx, etc.

- leighI will say that this may be a legit number for Comenity Bank. But I will not call it back. I am up to date on the cards that I have through the bank. Herberger's went out of business and I still had a balance on my card. I WILL NOT CALL any other number than what is on the card or their website. If it is that important they can send me a letter. I have no idea why they would be calling me If my accounts are current.
