- KimGot a call from 1-800-707-8065, they stated they were calling from "Omni financial reguarding a "personal" business matter" They left their number. The RED flag was the fact that the phone call was made to my business phone line. The Caller ID comes accross as "Tax Help". Defenetly a bogus scam of some sort. Plus they got my middle initial on my name wrong.

- latReceived a call last night at 8:45pm; the man identified himself by name and said he was with Omni Financial, and he was calling to help us with our income tax problems. I told he we had our taxes under control (we'd had a tax lien several years ago, they are obviously telemarketing on public records, but aren't too savvy as our release was filed over 2 years ago). He tried saying more, but I asked them not to call me again (plus we are on the "do not call" list) and hung up.
THEN, he called me AGAIN this morning! Same man, he said, "Mrs. xxx, I have the information you needed". I said, "I do not need any information; I do not need your help, I told you NOT to call me again". He said, "no, you do need my help". I told him my father in law is an attorney, I'd be happy to have him get involved if he did not understand me, and hung up.
we'll see when he calls next.- Caller: Omni Financial

- LeahA man called late one evening wanting to discuss our tax problem. He said he had been talking to my husband at work which was a lie as my husband was out of town. He called again during the day. I tried to tell him we did not have a tax problem, but he called me a liar. We had a preliminary tax lien and we also had a refund equal to twice the lien, so our accountact had already rectified the issue. Ambulance chasers - nd rude too.

- Jamie OI worked for Omni. It's not a scam, they just have a bunch of numbers for one name, and have to find the right person.
What they did when I worked there was find people who were in debt over $10,000 and offer to help them out financially.- Caller: Omni Financial

- SJBA man identifying himself as Mark Miller of Omni Financial called and left a message for my husband that he "had files he needed to review with us." He left a phone number, which we did not return, because the issue was settled and paid up many months ago.
Today he called again, would not identify what company he was with, and was WAY too friendly. I identified myself as the wife, and he started pushing me for information, but would not identify the company, only demanded to talk to my husband. I repeatedly asked what company he was with and why he was calling and he got really obnoxious. He just kept rambling on about "I know you paid more than $30,000 and I'm here to help you (We paid less than $700) and I finally told him to NOT ever call this number again. He kept arguing with me, telling me he had every right to call, and I told him to [***] off. He STILL kept on ranting and asking me what he ever did to me, and I told him I was reporting his invasive calls to my congressman and he finally hung up.- Call type: Unwanted
- susan| 2 repliescalled regarding a tax issue- hen there is none- How can telemarketing get away with this.
- lamet replies to susan| 1 replybecause no one is bothering to report them?
You have to file complaints with government agencies - 99% of those who post here will never file formal complaints about this abusive telemarketing scam - so the government can't do anything to stop it.

Link to all State Attorney General Websites www.naag.org - former omni employer replies to lametyes it is true that its not exsactly a scam... they do get information about tax liens and ect... and thier sales people idiots are informed that the company they work for is actually going to help. Why these twit sales people beleive this i have no idea while thier general manager larry fischer does absolutly nothing but degrade his people that have been there even before he was. Hes a [***] cripple finger [***] who has no respect for anyone who he forces to work double shifts to rip people off. but give the sales people a break... they are just stupid.
- 0toleranceJennifer Williams from Omni called and asked for the owner of the company by first name. Said it was an "important business matter" (which translates to phone solicitation I really don't know anything). If she really did need to speak with the owner over important business, she would already have the names, numbers, etc. and know with whom she was speaking with. Furthermore, Omni called a year or so ago daily with harassing obnoxious people trying to make a buck. How believable is it that some verbally abusive stranger is going to "help" you over the phone?

- Anonym replies to Omni FinancialWell, sir, please inform Charles Ulrich at extension 9041 that when he is asked the point blank question, "Is this a sales call?" and he responds with, "No." then he is committing fraud.
- sharonOmni Financial telemarketers are first evasive, become rude and then more rude as they try to evade answering direct questions about why they are calling.
In this call they advised it was related to a tax matter...then just like above about who they needed to speak to.- Caller: Omni Financial
- ht hallDo not want to receive these phone calls.
- LisaI got phone calls from someone by the name John from Omni Financial and he was trying to "help me" regarding "tax problems" that he said I have. I told him that I have no tax problem and I don't need his help. I couldn't even hung up and phone was ringing, and ringing and ringing. In 5 minutes there were 16 calls from this stupid company. I answered the phone once again and screamed to this person (John) that he has to leave me alone or I will call police. He was going on and on and was talking very calm, so he was trying to get my attention. He said that "no you are not call the police". I hung up on him and dialed 911 right away. Police came over to our house right away. I explained everything and police officer called these bustards from my home number, wanted to talk to them and find out who are they and why they are harassing people. Officer called, someone lady answered other side of the phone. Office asked her if he can talk to supervisor. No life person came to the phone, of course and officer had nothing to say but leave a clear message for this company's supervisor, Rebeca (not sure if she ever exists). Anyway, Officer told me how I can act if I'll receive any phone calls from this idiots again. I think these people (like John or whoever) are trained to be aggressive and harassing people. I told him that he and his company is a third party and they intentionally bothering people offering their stupid service. Be careful everyone and contact to your local police or phone company if you are getting phone calls from Omni Financial.

- unknownAs a previous employee, I know that they do generate leads from public records and if it happens to be a wrong number they have the telemarketers do research on whitepages.com to try to find the right numbers. When they do get people to listen they transfer them to a sales closer, they then quote you a price to help you and then you end up getting charged that amount, plus they try to get more money out of you later and then IF YOUR LUCKY your tax lien MIGHT get fixed, they are definately a crappy tax firm. Its tax firms like them that give other tax buisnesses a bad name!
