This is a completely legitimate phone #. 800-724-2525 is the Collections team for M&T bank and are calling most likely because you are 7 days+ past your due date.

If the caller is calling from M&T bank why does the caller id say MNT. And when i ansewer it hangs up.

Call almost everyday. When I pick up the call it immediately disconnects after our greeting.

This is not a telemarketing call. This is regarding delinquent account balances with M&T bank. Do not call lists don't work if you are paying your bill!!!

This shows as M+T leaves no messages hangs up as soon as answering machine picks up. Suspicious Let them send a letter stating their business. As far as I know there is no debt. The only thing I can think of is that they want to sell their wares.

They are calling my work number and not my cell phone number. I want them to stop calling my work!

Definitely a scam. So not give any personal information to these people.  They called me regarding a loan with them which I never had. Reporting this  to the real M&T Bank.
