- InCaliforniaI have never donated blood to the Red Cross due to health reasons, so they do not have my contact information. They should never have a reason to call me.
I picked up the call but did not speak. The line was silent until they disconnected. I am wary of a scammer spoofing the number. The Red Cross has never called my number before today.

- williamJust got a suspicious call from this number saying it was from Apple Support and that suspicious activity had been detected on my iCloud account and to not use iCloud to store any financial information until I talk to Apple support and to press 1 to be transferred now. I did not press one and upon looking this up I see that it is a scam.

- SandyGot a call from this number and blocked it. Came up on Caller ID as follows:
Red Cross
800-733-2767 - CarpetGuyThey double call, meaning call from one VoIP line, and a fraction of a second later, from another one. Forces the second call to go to voicemail. Good thing Spectrum lets you have a "Unwanted Callers" list, because they are now on it.
- Caller: American Red Cross
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- NooneThe problem with Red Cross right now is they keep calling even though I asked to unsubscribe for the time being and they do not comply. I have made several appointments when they call for an "emergency donation". Then they cancel my appointment. Some "emergency". I get they are under staffed. I love the Red Cross. But seriously please get your scheduling process together or stop bothering me for your "emergencies". I have blocked this number now because I feel like they are the boy crying wolf at me all the time. Maybe you could prioritize people better who you keep cancelling on And the app experience is the worst. I made an appointment to a donation center only to go there and find the facility vacant. Why do they list venues if they are not staffing them? Again, get your darn scheduling process in order.

- Dave-Orland Park, ILI did not answer because it is an 800 number and UNKNOWN CALLER. They did not leave a message. I see previous calls claim this is the Red Cross asking for blood donations. If the name, RED CROSS was in the caller ID, I may have answered.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Sunny1 replies to tjI agree... they just called here and left a recorded message on my a/m. We haven't donated blood here, strange to get this call all of a sudden, don't trust it.
- Sunny1 replies to Jackiemakes me suspect that this is a scam.
- Fed Up| 1 replyClaims to be a call on behalf of Sports Clips and the American Red Cross. If I donate blood within the week, I'll supposedly receive an email confirming I'll receive a free haircut from Sports Clips. Sports Clips services men. I'm not a dude. Once I read, "Blood is sold to hospitals, biomedical companies, academic centers, and pharmaceutical companies, according to Laura McGuire, external communications manager at the Red Cross," I decided to never donate blood again. I have to "donate" my blood, but the American Red Cross can sell it?! No way! Especially not to pharmaceutical companies. These blood hounds need to stop calling me.
