Red Cross informing me about a blood drive.
Saved number under the entry "Vampires" on my cell-phone.

Oh it's the Red Cross. Usually they show up as the Red Cross on my caller ID, so I know when to answer. I'm a frequent blood donor so it makes sense why they would call. However they should identify themselves. I didn't answer because I thought it was another collection or telemarketer.

Called around 1:15pm on a Friday, didn't answer.  Left message.  Was American Red Cross thanking me for my past donations and advising me of an upcoming blood drive requesting help once again.  Was not a recording, was an actual live person.

Its the Red Cross.

They've called me 12 times..yes TWELVE TIMES .. TODAY!!

What part of STOP CALLING ME don't these idiots get?

They called on Thanksgiving Day of all days. My respect and tolerance for them has lowered a notch.

I am getting these calls one minute apart 4 times in a row . Morning, noon & night a least three times a day. Enough! I can not donate.

agreeeeeeed!   if they would ID themselves MORE CALLS WOULD BE ANSWERED!

It's the American Red Cross informing me of a local blood drive coming up this week.

I didn't get called by this number, but it was listed on a mysterious charge for $110 on my bank statement. I have no idea where the charge came from, and have never given blood

I have started getting these calls repeatedly every day.  They call 4 times in a row, one to three minutes between calls.  Caller ID shows either Unavailable or Private.  They have never left a message and the calls are clustered - typically 4-5 times in a row 2-3 times a day.  I have donated blood in the past as has my son, but during his 2nd donation (at a high school blood drive) they almost destroyed his arm, collapsing a vessel and leaving him bruised and swollen for weeks, not to mention that I had to take him to the emergency room because he passed out after giving blood (which didn't happen the first time he donated), split open his head, and needed stitches.  I know he will never be donating again, and after the $1,000 emergency room visit that the Red Cross cost me, I doubt I'll be donating any time in the near future either.  Plus the use of these calling tactics doesn't much put me in the mood to donate anything, much less my blood.

They have called me every day for about two weeks. Apparently, it's the Red Cross but I'm not interested in donating at the moment which is why I don't answer. I really wish they would stop calling or just leave a message.

Pam, I'm sorry to hear your son had a negative reaction to giving blood.  Giving is never a particularly pleasant experience for me and I normally am very light-headed following a donation and have to take things easy.  I'm even sorrier to hear a common side effect (albeit with an uncommonly negative result) has prevented you from giving.  
I got the call regarding my scheduled appointment and am hoping my second attempt this week will be more successful!

do not call.  This caller calls 2 and 3 times a day.

Call everyday including weekends between 6-7pm.

um so everyone is saying if they would leave a message or show up on called id...well 18007332767= 1800 RED CROSS

They have called 2 - 5 times a day - everyday for the past 3 weeks, no message...74 entries on my caller ID and counting.

Donated blood once, and now they won't stop calling me.

When the ARC Vampires call on you,

Just tell them you have HIV OR HEP-C. They will never call you again!!!

That's what I did after 5 calls from them in 1 day every week for 3 weeks.
