800-741-9922

I have received ten calls from a Lindsay McGee during the past two weeks.  The caller ID shows 301-223-0050, while the phone message states to call 800-741-9922.  When I called the 800 # to inquire what they wanted, they answered as TCIF.  The person they are trying to collect from has never lived at my residence.  I asked them to remove my phone # from their database, however, I doubt they will comply.

They have been calling my private cell phone asking for "accounts payable".  When I tell them it is a private cell phone and not a business and please remove the phone number from their information, it does no good.  They continue to call daily.

I've been getting recorded messages from Lindsay McGee as well. I noticed that everyone keeps mentioning Ohio, but checking the 301 area code reveals the number is in Maryland.

I just got a call from 800-684-8429 last night and they left a VM saying to call Amanda at 800-741-9922.  The message was marked urgent and she was saying that it was a very pertinent business issue.  I owe money to many people (college debts, medical bills) but I have no idea who CCS is.  Of course, I Googled and found all of these complaints and the ripoffreport.com file, so I am not going to call them back.  Even though they almost scared me enough to get me to call back and give them $$.  Scary how this can happen!

Is there anywhere we can report and hopefully stop these guys?  I always look up the numbers they leave and they are always reported on this site.  Like everyone else I'm tired of the constant calls.

I have received calls from the 800 numbers and the 301 number for months. Terrance again and again. They do not stop. How do we get them to stop? If anyone knows where to file a compaint or how to stop this, please let me know asap. My email is lbwelcome@gmail.com

I just received a similar message from "William Baker." He said:

"Hi, Caroline. this is William Baker. I'd like you to return my telephone call at 1-800-741-9922, ext 5064, as soon as you receive this message. Thank you, and have a good day."

My caller ID read: 301-223-0050. I had no idea who this was; so I'm glad I decided to Google the number.

I received a call from a Terrence Crawford saying he has an important message and to call him at 800-741-9922. I called back and it says the mailbox is full..goodbye. I have no idea what it is.

caller ID shows LYMAN,CHAS A with 802234969 but VM says to call 8007419922

Rec'd a call today from 216-839-2130 Rita Miller I was to call her back at 800-741-9922 x5053 and she read my case # to me which is my complete SS# - That freaked me out, how dare anyone use a full SS# AND leave it on a v/m.

My research online shows this is a fraud attempt of some sort.  I haven't found CCS yet, but just starting this mission.

I suggest NO ONE return a call to a business that uses a SS# publically AND then asks you to confirm it for them.

Automated phone calls from a company called CCS or CCF to cell number.  When you call back to report they have the wrong number, the reps are RUDE! I have heard they may be an identity theft ring.

800-741-9922 when I returned the phone call to CCS or CCF not sure what the message said, a woman asked for my phone number.  I explained that I don't normally give my number out to 800 numbers, but agreed.  She said her office was a call center for many clients.  She said that it was a legal complaint and to reference this case number... XXX-XX-XXXX  which turned out to be my social security number... I asked her how she got this info, she said it was used as a Reference number.  Like you StephCh, I owe money to many people, but filed Chapter 13, 3 years ago, so I don't have any money or don't understand how or what legal matter this could be about.  My suggestion is not to call this number back... EVER!!

Same thing happened to me... DON'T CALL THEM BACK.. I wish there was a way to block this number and numbers like this from calling my phone.

Personaly, I think everyone should keep calling them back on the 800 lines listed and just say hello and ask em some questions, keep calling and calling and calling, using there dime and time, if enough people call them they wont have time to call out, and it will run up the phone bill

802-234969 is the number that keeps coming up on my phone.
That's not even 10 digits!!
Can't call it back either.

I have received calls on my job from someone saying there name was Chris and I owed Cash Well the amount of 286.25 and he was collecting a debt.  He gave me a telephone number to call back which was 800-741-9922 Ext 5051 when calling him back he stated that his name was Jerry with a company name Crest Woods Management and had a very serious attitude about me call n back to verfiy the information he gave me.  Told me its just like going to a resturant talking to an employee there and asking about their collections agency they don't have a clue.  I laugh and told him to have a nice day.  He went as far to give an address which is P O Box 22630 Cleveland Ohio with no zip code these call were at 9:15 9:20 9:25 on today January 6, 2010.

SCAMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....Don't you hate people that are evil....What can we do. does anyone have good advice..to capture these scumbags

They also have Wachovia Billpay as a client. For some reason Wachovia payed one of my monthly bills even though I did not have enough money in my account. I wasn't notified of this until receiving a call from this number. I followed up with Wachovia and it was a legitimate debt. I'm looking more into this company though before I send them any account information just to be thorough. The lady on the phone was not very professional, but it did sound like a call center environment.

i have a cell number of 970-596-8389 and they keep calling me about a bill  that is to a company i ussed to work for , they are not in business anymore and i am not responsible for their debts.  please have them stop calling and harrassing me
