    Just Me
Received a call at work from this number.  The guy said he was from APS (Arizona Public Service Electric Co.) calling regarding the service at (stated the office address) and that my service was scheduled to be disconnected within the next 45 minutes due to non-payment.  I was aware of this scam and just told him to go ahead and disconnect it and hung up.  What I think is interesting is they are using a legitimate number for PG&E, a utility company from California and I am in Arizona.  PG&E would not be calling regarding APS accounts.  :-)

Called me 3x in an hour after 6:00pm today for a sum total of calling me 9x this month alone.  They must be getting desperate because people aren't answering their phones anymore...about time!

Very well crafted, but bogus, PGE "safety meter inspected needed", please call within 3 days to schedule. The 3 days sense of urgency to take action is the giveaway.

Here's the pattern this dude is using for my number...calls from this 800 number then calls me from another fake PG&E number at 209-955-7300 and then calls me from <my area code>+<my prefix>+<random 4 numbers>.  This sequence has been coming up for me too often to call it coincidentally random calls from various scam jobs.  It's the same dude.

Call received and no message left, just silence, then they hang up. Very, Very suspiouse. Looked up the phone number in reverse directroy and it stated the 800-743-5000 is owed by "San Carlos City Finance". Did further check and found it being identified as call from PG&E. Strange. Therefore, DO NOT LISENT OR TAKE OR MESSAGE OR CALLER AS BEING LEGITIMATE. Scam/Fraud. Don't call that number back because your number will be identified to the caller. There is no blocking you number with an 800 (Toll Free) number. The owner/caller is paying for the call, meaning: Becasue of that, it automatice identifies who is calling that number.

Caller ID says PGE. Man with heavy Indian accent was NOT with PGE. He wanted to sell/scam solar equipment. Told him the ID showed PGE and PGE#. He said it must be  "technical glitch". Lol. Told him spoofing # is illegal, not that he cared. He hung up.
The problem is that PGE does call from that number for power outage alerts  etc  so I cant block the number. 😡

I still get these calls and I still don't answer them; actually, my call blocker blocks them.  Scam job has been calling me every single month for about a year now.  Nothing changes.  But definitely these scam jobs are the same criminals that use your area code + your prefix + random four numbers.  If you get these, it's all the same scam job.
