I decided not to answer the call. No Voice Mail was left.

Call this number back was left on my cell phone.  When answered they did not want to give the company name, and ask was I David or Sue, I said no and the person hung the phone up.

Its FC Services.  A debt collection service.

I keep on getting a phone call from this number and i dont know who they are.

Got a call from this number on my cell.  Called back, they told me the company was FC services.  I asked them what it was about, and what they did and they wouldnt tell me.  I told them they had called me and if she wasn't going to tell me who they were, I wasn't going to give my info.  She said fine and hung up.

These people called me about 12 times in two days. Finally I called them back and they asked me to verify my SSN and birthdate because they had "confidential information".  I said I wasn't confirming anything until they told me what kind of info they had to share and the guy laughed at me and hung up.

The Fair Debr Collection Practices Act states that callers from debt collecting agencies MUST identify themselves.

FSC is a colection agency that is in part owned by Dunstone. If FSC or Dunstone calls do not return the call. They are using phone traps that over ride Call ID Blocks. They then us this Information to call your employer and your relatives.

These [***] called trying to collect on my Dead Step-Daughter's Debts,all of which was dispensed of upon her death. We are not legally responsible for her debts,nor are her 3 children all minors.

We have hired an Attorney and are now in the beginning stages of taking Legal Actions against both FCS and Dunstone LLC both here in Ohio and in Arizona.

They are Breaking the Laws of the United States and the States in which they are operating.

Have received a number of calls from them in the last two weeks.  Apparently I shouldn't have called back but just did, they wanted the last four of my social and wouldn't tell me what it was about unless I did.  Will be checking into the Dunstone thing...

they called my husband and sister in law looking for me about a utility bill that i paid 2 months ago for a tenant of mine that moved out without paying rent or her bills...they seem very shady.  even when they knew who i was and i told them that the bill was paid and that i could get proof they just hung up on me and wouldn't answer my questions.  their employees must get straight commission on what they collect otherwise why wouldn't they want to help me clear my record.

Thanks for the info. I figured they were calling about a bill the drunk didnt pay after I threw her out a year ago. I was going to try and call them back and for some lucky reason my phone wasnt working..I googled the number and found this. Funny thing is the voice that is computer generated and says the name of the person who they are trying to reach sounded JUST like the one from the victims of crimes call that inform you when the person who broke the law has a hearing or case status change. (MOAV) I had to file restraining orders against her and I would get automated calls informing me of her case status. Just struck me funny when I heard that voice on the answering machine! I wont be calling that one back!

they left me a message on my cell giving only their 800-754-1913 number and their hours of operation to call back with no detail as to who they are. Unsolicited phone calls are not appreciated...
i believe the caller ID on this call at 10:40AM , 12/21/10 was 501-975-3303.

Calling an 85 year old, and they will not give any info until all of his info. is given to them first.  Please block this caller from this number 803-834-3563...Gordon Amick

Below are the results of a Google Search concerning numerous, un-solicited and harassing phone calls made from 800-754-1913 x1431 received by a business in Canton, GA.  As you can see, this business is not the only party receiving harassing and bogus calls from this number.  The caller falsely suggests that they are attempting to collect a phone bill.  This is pure fabrication and/or a pretext for a phishing or other such scam since no such bills exist.  The caller has been told to send a letter validating the alleged debt and to never call again; however, nothing written has been received and the calls continue.  This will be reported to the FBI for starters.

Called my step-mother. Not sure how they got her cell number. Said they "had info to release to me". Glad I found this information.

They just called my friend asking for me and we have no clue on how they got the number but they left this number 8007541913

This is a collection agency, and just like any other working person, they are just DOING THEIR jobs!  If you owe money and you don't want collection agencies calling your precious phone, then PAY YOUR DAMN BILLS!  I'm sure they hate calling you as much as you hate receiving the calls.  This message is ONLY to those who KNOW they owe money and act like the world owes them, pay your bills and you wont get called!  Simple as that!  You want to be mad and cry all over the internet, just wait until these garnishments take place.  Then you will really be crying.  You cant BLOCK WAGE GARNISHMENTS, so pay your bills and quit crying!!  If they got a friends number mysteriously, you probably put them down as a reference....the point to a reference is to track you down in case you fail to make YOUR OBLIGATED PAYMENTS. PAY YOUR DEBTS AND THEY WONT CALL YOU!!!!!  (If you get mad at this post, you probably owe some money, somewhere!!) GEEEEZ RANT OVER!!!

Um.
A debt collector cannot garnish one's wage until AFTER a court hearing.
It is illegal for debt collectors to make those threats.
