- janScam. "Account services. Due to the tragic times, we are offering all valued customers a full debt forgiveness. This is your final notice, press 1 to get your debt validated." LOL...we're not a customer and have no debt needing forgiveness. Getting inundated this week by spam calls, likely all connected. First a local appearing call to test the # then this seemingly legitimate looking 1-800 #.

- LAnother SPOOFED number for Card Member Services. To paraphrase the recording, it says 'This is Card Member Services with an important message regarding your current credit card account. We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to speak with a member services department or press 2 and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire”. As always, I track and report these SCAMMERS phishing for personal information. Sadly, the government does NOTHING.

- RandyRecorded call from "Card Member Services" left on my phone from a spoofed phone number. I usually figure it is a foreign scammer when they don't give an option to opt out the the calls as legit US companies usually do. I've heard this same recording numerous times.
- Caller: Credit card scammer

- Jimcalled @ 2pm. No message left on the answering machine. I don't answer ANY call if I don't know the number. If its important, the caller will leave me a detailed message. I don't even bother to block them anymore. The caller will just use another of many numbers to call you again. Definite scam caller.

- TekWizJust got a call from this number, but as usual if I don't recognize the number I DO NOT SAY ANYTHING! I had talk radio on and just waited, after a few seconds they hung up! That's how you can tell if it's a real person. If it is, they will go "Hello? Hello?" but if it's a machine, it won't say a thing till you say "Hello" which will trigger it. So if you see a number you don't recognize, either don't pick up of if you day, just stay quiet!
- JordanGot a call today that actually appeared as PNC BANK on caller ID. It was an actual person saying someone setup Apple Pay from my account and had my pin, and had made several purchases. Then he asked what my pin was to confirm my identity, which was a red flag. I asked them to email me information or if I could call back, then he hung up on me. I called the real pnc and they informed me they don’t have an 800 number, it’s 888
- Caller: Fake pnc bank number
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Kay TheezyYup, they called talking about I had to two transactions from a different state and then asked to verify the last 8 digits of my debit card so they can send me a new one. Banks never do that LOL. Especially for debit cards.
