I just recieved a call from the a few minutes ago. A man,"Glen", with an indian accent, wanted to know if i was interested in some of thier projects. And when i answered yes, he ask to speak to my mom! (wierd) the agent should be interested in the person they are hiring not the parents.  I told them that they were busy and he gave me this number! I'm glad i googled it! Thank you everyone!

I reported that scam today.  Hopefully it will get shut down.  his fone was 1-800-763-8303 and he claimed his name was Kevin Dawson (a creative director) and that he was with the company Explores Challenge.  He told me to call him back in an hour and a half to see if i wanted to get acting/modeling jobs for $200.  I told him id think about it.  Then I reported him.  He has some sort of accent, that is hard to understand.  So do not fall for his [***].  I've been acting/singing/modeling all my life, and I had not posted my resume on ExploresTalent.com.  So he thought I was inexperienced. NEVER believe somebody who tries to make you pay for acting/modeling jobs.  If it is a legit company, then IF you get a job from them helping you, THEN you pay them money out of that paycheck. But that is ONLY IF YOU GET THE JOB.

I posted my picture on ExploreTalent.com and a man who called himself Kevin Dawson called me.  He went on this huge rant about how I was beautiful and so forth, and he asked if i was experienced in acting and modeling.  He said that he could get me acting/modeling jobs for just $200 a year.  He had a weird accent, I am pretty sure this man was foreign.  I could barely understand him.  Anyway, I told him that I would think about it and he told me to call back in an hour and a half because he had an important meeting.  So I get off the phone with him and immediately went to ExploreTalent.com.  I KNOW he got my name from there since I put up my name and a picture of me on the site a week before.  So I know for a fact that the man has Access to the subscribers phone numbers.  I am planning on calling him back in an hour and seeing if he can give me references or another number or information about the "agency" he is working for.

I got the same message while I was in vacation in Korea. I am glad to read all this messages, I am calling this people to give them a piece of my mind

Guy just called me and left a message saying "You have been selected by talent blah blah blah.. call me"-- figure I would google it to see what the deal was.

He had some kind of accent which was really annoying to understand; so that right away means I wont be calling back. haha.

This is weird. My story is actually different from yours in some parts. I got the same call and the guys name was Angelo West. He did have an accent but not heavy. First he called my house phone which it said "Out of Area" but then he called my cell and it came up with the number. And it wasnt an 800 number either. It was 323 785 2010.....i called them back just now after talking to Mr. West about two hours ago and i got the answering machine saying it was Explore Talent. what do you guys think?

I also got a call yesterday saying he was John Brown, creator/director wanting my daughter to audition. Never put anything about my daughter on this site..This is a SCAM

I rec'd an unknown call message from Mark Benson,,heavy accent,,,message stated to call for local auditions in my area for my daughter,,,SCAM....they either want money up front or want you to update to their "gold Memebersip" online,which supposedly gets you a ton more auditions and inquiries.

I got a call from a Kevin Dawson from Creative Directing the phone number is now 1-800-763-8363 with an accent saying he had acting and modeling jobs. I never submitted anything to these people.  I could barely hear him and he sounded as if he was reading a script.  I never responded at all my answering machine pick up his call.  If a talent agency wants really wants you, they pay for the pictures etc. to get you the job if its legit. This says scam all over it!!  BEWARE!!!!!!

I just got the call. I don't even remeber going on exploretalent.com. Good thing i was online to look this Mark Benson up. There was a different number but the same guy.

Wow, I'm glad I looked them up.  Got the same type of call from someone with an Indian accent (I know it's Indian because I've talked to that country more times than I can count trying to report a problem with my phone service...OMG what a freaking NIGHTMARE THAT is).  The "creative director" I spoke with gave the name Kevin Dawson, and wanted to rep me without even meeting me in person.  WAY too easy...you'd think the scammers would learn to be more of a pain in the [***] and make the process as complicated as possible. They might get more bites.

I had a call from exploretalent site and they said i can be a model of some kind of advertisement,, and i pay 30$ for month and they said that they recall me but rthey didnt and they gave me a number 1800 763 85 17 iit doesnt work

I got a call from that 323 785 number and they guy named "Bryan" told me they were casting for a trey songz video and for them to release information I had to give them my credit card number and I gave them a fake one lol

i got a call from merlin maria.. a woman.. i guess.. she left a message.. and i called back.. cause she said if i was interested in an audition.. im an aspiring actress.. so i thought maybe id give it a shot.. i then got a hold of shirley peterson.. she told me as well that she was the creative director of explore talent.. and i was top 8 of the ppl that they chose..
i told her i had no money at the time.. she kind of laughed.. buut i ddidnt really care.. cause they wanted me to pay 70 bucks up front.. for 3 months.. to have my profile on their website.. shes supposed to be calling me back on the 15th.. cause i told her i would try to get the money.. cause she kind of guilt tripped me by saying.. it diddnt dound like was wanting to be a serious actress.. buut now that i see all this....
im hella busting her out next time i talk to her.. hahaha.

My grandmother had a hard time understanding her because she's russian...so when she said the girl sounded indian/british, I was like "What? I thought Explore Talent was out of LA?"

SCAAM, got the same call from Shirley Peterson so called "Creative Director" telling me I've been chosen to audition for some commercials photo shoots and other stuff, went to look her up online and found this thanks guys. They called from this number: 5306630714 but wanted me to call this number: 18007638517

I got a call from a guy called Kevin Dawson who said he was a cast director and wanted me to model and play a part in "Poppel's Penguins". He said his number was 866-611-8672. I think it's a load of bull. He wanted me to drop my job and college to go to Hollywood. Is this a scam?

I got a call from Kevin Dawson a few days ago. claiming he saw me on explore talent.com and i hung up on him when he started asking for my debit and credit card numbers. He called me from this number though 1866-611-8672. he spoke with an accent.
