Displayed "RBC" on call display screen. Didn't answer it. No message left on my voice mail; suspect someone pretending to be Royal Bank of Canada for scam purposes.

This is not RBC. It is a Scam. It's so close to the RBC number that some people think it really is them. Sometimes they will leave an automated message of a new verification number that was not requested to get you to call them back do not do this. RBC will call with a live person for things like these. RBC will not ask for your information if they call you. They will relay your personal information to you for confirmation that they have the correct person on the line to the account. Do not volunteer your personal information to them if they get it incorrect. Simply advise them that is not the correct information and you will go into the branch to have it corrected.

Live person on the other end and definitely calling from RBC.
Gave me some updated information regarding my mortgage options come renewal time.  Didn't ask for any information other than to confirm who they were talking to.

No message = blocked call

This is not RBC, it's a real good scammer. The RBC number is 2511, not 2551.

I called RBC back after this # called me and they confirmed it's one of their numbers and also confirmed the time their rep called me.

I just called the rbc costumer service and they confirmed it to be their pro acvite team which callers with new offers

I called the real RBC number on my card , it is not a real call. I reported them to the fraud centre at rbc, it is 2511 instead of2551. be careful

Suspicious after their third phone call in two weeks. Answered, heard a beep, they hung up. Checked RBC contact numbers could not find this one in particular, but other numbers very similar. I suspect this probably is a scam even though some people here say they checked and it was legit according to them.  I will block this and the same # but ending in '53.

I was called by someone using this number. I was told I qualified for a credit card and was asked if I had any other accounts with another bank. I never gave any delicate information, but it's a bit unnerving, nonetheless.

Suspicious call from this number named "Bank Rbc". Never left a voice message, and it was from the US. Even RBC is supposed to be spelled with caps but it wasn't.

Annoying  calls 3 times a day and never  leaves a message

Got a call from this number 2 hours after I talked to someone from RBC reporting my credit card problem.  Asking for my credit card numbers after a chitchat.  Really wonder if anyone from RBC acts as a inside man/woman for the scam.

This is definitely a scam call. The people confirming this is a real number, are part of the scam. You can verify for yourself if this number is real by contacting RBC as listed on their web site, and not trusting what people on here say.

Same, I had 2 calls in one day and 1 the next day

This happen to me to they called no message but I called RBC later to barelify and that number is of them and they said I did get pre-approved for a credit card and that it's on the way

Scammers will spoof any number, such as this one, to pretend to be from RBC and try to steal your money.
Hang up and call back from one of the numbers on their website.

I just got called on this number and almost fell for it as it came up as RBC on my phone. The give away for me was that they asked for personal information (you must never give that away on the phone if someone calls you). So close to being scammed!

Sounds super real but felt uncomfortable as RBC never calls they would just send notifications on the app. She told me a line of credit that I in fact am approved for which is why I started believing it’s real. She did not ask for any of my information besides confirming stuff like address, employer and phone number. Last second i felt uncomfortable and asked to rethink it - without any doubts the lady has scheduled a call with me next day. I called RBC customer service and the girl has confirmed that this number does not exist in their outgoing cold calls. Therefore, this is a scam and they are pretty good!
