It's a recording (left on my answering machine) asking you to enter your pin, without revealing who they are. Using my caller id, I phoned the number to see who they were, since I've not solicited any such pin requiring call, and I'm on the Do Not Call Registry. Another recording answers this number and says, "Welcome to California Psychics." I've NEVER solicited such a thing, and I live alone.

Same thing happened to me - multiple calls from same number. I ignored them. Left message that was a partial recording asking to enter a pin. Scammy phone spam

FYI: when you receive a call from this number, it is important for you to understand that someone else has mistakenly input your own telephone number, and not their own. It is not a scammer trying to solicit you, and that is why they ask for a pin, to confirm that the person who requested a call back is the actual person requesting the call back.

So, who "input" your number by mistake?  That is why you are here right?  You got a call from them because of a mistake?

You listed the call as an event reminder but curious to know who was calling.  It is generally not a good idea to enter a PIN number let alone other information when getting a call from an unknown number.  Use common sense and be careful.  Scammers are busy this time of year.

Someone trying get a call back from "California Psychics". I do not work for them, but as a customer, I  request a call back from them when requested. Hope this clarification, provides you with a better understanding of an event (call back) that was misdirected or mistaken.

If you are NOT the actual person who requesting the call back  (a event request you planned on getting from California Psychics) then why would you input any PIN number?

You are calling a "psychic" place?  They should have the line open and should have been expecting your call if they were real "psychics".  Maybe they should call themselves California Psychos instead.

These fools called at 2:30 AM and woke me from a sound sleep. I hope they rot in hell.
