Live in NJ and got the same postcard. Was this a scam?

Are you trying to insinuate that because you live in New Jersey you're not smart enough to know what junk mail is and what to do with it?

I received one and I just called them and the same exact thing happened to me. What a shame

I received the same, however it was addressed to someone who doesn’t live at my address and a name I don’t recognize.

So you got someone else's junk mail.

I got this offer when I signed up for smart energy. They said it would take effect 6 months after I signed up. The activate your PIN message came 6 months after I signed up. I think it is legit.
