Got a call from Katheryn Zenawick on Aug 22, 07 who said she was with the "Prize Claim Center" located in Colorado Springs.  They were a third party company working for Travel Incorporated.  Said name was pulled as one of 100 who had won a prize.  Asked for personal information.  I said I would bring it in person.  Her boss came on the phone. His name was Earl.  Would not give last name and denied everything Katheryn said.  Finally, he hung up on me for not giving him any info over the phone.

Left me a voice mail message telling me , "congradulations, you've won a 2007 Ford Explorer or $25000 in cash". I returned the call only to find out I first needed to verify my mailing address.  I had not yet won either prize yet and would only be in a drawing with all others who verified their contact information.

Same thing...had voice-mail: "Norma", from the "prize verification center in Colorado Springs", said I'd won either a Cadillac Escalade or $50,000 and to call her back at a certain extension.  As I played back the message I could hear the background noise of a call center...other telemarketers on the phone.  How stupid is that?
Can't something be done about this?  I'm on the Do Not Call List but it isn't doing anything.

This must be a scam, as I also got a message on my machine that I needed to call before this weekend to verify information.  The message stated that I was a finalist for a Ford Explorer, 25,000 or on of many other prizes.

Breezie left message claiming that I was the winner of a Cadillac Escalade or $50,000. Claimed that notification letter was mailed out 6 weeks ago and that this was a courtesy call informing that I had 48 hours remaining to claim prize or forfeit. Contest called 'Cool Car Coold Cash Giveaway'.

Received several messages from Sabrina Jones at this number, saying we had won a cool or cold cash. Last message stated they were deciding on the winners in 24 hours and we needed to contact them immediately.  I tried reaching Sabrina a couple of times, but always got voice mail. Glad I found this website to help figure out that it's a marketing ploy.

Received call that we had won a contest, don't remember entering it. The company is Global Services Network. They are offering Travel Club.  You need to show 2 forms of ID...one being a credit card.  My email says that I will receive one of the following.Ford Explorer, vacation or tv

Received phone message stating I was the winner of the "cool car hard cash" contest.  Stated I filled out the form 'some time ago' and had only 48 hours to respond. (Did not fill anything out)
I googled it and found out I wasn't the only one being called.  I'm sure they are information fishing!  I won't even call them back.  BEWARE!

Recieved a call from Breezie stating that I had been selected as a finalist for a cool car or cash give-a-way. But I dont seem to remember signing up for any contest, and besides, I uaually never sign up for any contests involving personal information. She also said that I signed up last December.

We just recieved a call from same (message). I called the # and got the voicemail for a Karen Johnson, Director of the contest. In her initial call she claimed that we had entered a contest. the call was for my elderly mom who has a sharp mind and does nopt recall entering any contest, much less this one.

I just talked to "karen jonhson", she was very wary of giving out info. She claimed the entry was made at a restaurant, yet she could not tell me which one. She refused to tell me what company she worked for and became belligerent at this point saying " how do I know this is her son? " To which I replied " What does that matter? If I was a stranger or a police officer why can't you tell me what company you work for?" I hung up when she again refused.
