    Just an update-My sister ended up calling SRS. They told her she had been a victim of identity theft and someone had charged 13,000.00 in her name.She doesn't even own a credit card and told them there was no way someone could charge things under her name. I don't know what all they said after that but she hung up on them. Don't think they will call back. Don't be ntimidated. Let these people know that you know they are a scam. They can't do a thing to you.

Their "general manager" has a lexus from like 10 years ago that u could prob get for about $5000! The only reason they bought them is for a company image! SRS is an infested building thats about the size of a small garage! Glad to see all the money is making it down ur throats!! Definately doesn't show in your cars or your building! Hope you choke on it!!!

    SRS is a third party collection agency that buys up junk debt for pennies on the dollar and can't possibly prove a debt belongs to you so you should ask them to send you proof of the debt (copy of the original contract) and when they can't they have no case and you can tell them to F off. They can’t produce a copy of the contract because one doesn’t exist. What exists is an unenforceable unilateral contract. What the banks refer to a ‘your contract with us’ is not a valid bilateral agreement since the four requirements of a lawful,
    binding contract were not met on the credit card ‘application’, namely:
    1. Full Disclosure (we are not told that we are creating the credit with our signature);
    2. Equal Consideration (they bring nothing to the table, hence they have nothing to lose);
    3. Lawful Terms and Conditions (they are based upon fraud); and
    4. Signatures of the Parties (corporations can’t sign because they can’t contract - they are legal fictions). Credit cards are win/ win for the banks and lose/ lose for everyone else - it is the slickest con game on the planet.

    Asked to settle an account of my mothers from Chase which was over 10,000.  They offered a settlement of $3000.00. I told them I would have to call them back.  I'm very confused.  The number on my caller id said 856-990-5765.  The number they told me to call back was 1-888-448-1822.  My mother does have this debt but she does not have the money to pay it.
    Please help what should I do to find out if they are legit??

    Robert Shapiro of SRS called my son on a Friday claiming to be a lawyer. Threatened him into giving his bank account # for a withdrawl. Luckily I checked on this guy and found out they are noboby's where I am concerned. His debt is 7-8 years old. I had him go in on the following Monday and close the account and reopen a new one. That fried their butts, they called back all nasty and I told my son to just let it ring when they call. Now the try to call me about it. They are messing with the wrong Mom now.

    My thanks to everyone who helps others on this site. I admit there are people who are just plain and simple deadbeats and play the game of getting credit and having no intentions of ever paying. But, there are also honest people who can't pay for reasons they have no control over. Job loss,sickness,lay offs,etc. You can have a great record for years nad one bump and it all ends. I have dealt with companies who are wonderful to work with, and others who don't care if you are dying as long as they get the cash. If they would stop raising the interest rates so high on these people there is a chance the could continue to make payments of some sort. As I told Wamu after I lost my job, I want to pay you, if can work with me to get me through this period. They said NO,NO,NO so I told them I don't want to have to choose between you and my family because you will lose. Others were kinder so I continue to pay them as much as I can.
    So, please don't judge all people here as one.

    I just received one of these calls from SRS on my cell phone asking for my parents. They had to close their auto business last year due to the economy. She said she wanted to get in touch with them about a pending case and didn't want them to get side swiped.

    She tried to get me to give her their phone numbers. I told her to give me her number and I would have them call her back. She put me on hold, then came back with her 800 number.

    I told her that I have nothing to do with their financials and to not bother me on my cell at work again.

    Don't answer the calls. If you do, don't pay them, tell them to act on their threats to sue you. If there's a legitimate case against you, in which you would need to have an attorney, you'll be notified by mail BY THE COURT. These people are rude and menacing, which is not acceptable, and it's best to not deal with them but get it into the hands of a Judge. They are collection agents, despite their claims. Dealing with anyone that has to do with payday loans, on line loans, title loans, etc... is always unpleasant because the entire industry is based on opportunism and preying on the unfortunate. If they had a leg to stand on, they'd forward the matter to an attorney, not these scumbags.

    I also recieved a call fromm an "associate" of SRS & ASC.  They said I needed to call them back of I would be "blindsided" by some action against me for a past due debt.  After reading these many comments, I know now not to deal with them.  I am working with a debt consultaion firm and I will let them know about this call and let them handle it.
