Scammer....I called him out and he laughed and said you don't know where I am and hung up

It popped up in a fake virus ad for apple. Even used the trademark robot voice and music before ending it. I couldn't get into safari until I opened up a website from my text messages and deleted the site.

Same happened to me. Called number and some Asian guy named Jason said he was Apple rep. I have talked to Apple reps before and they don’t just say hi this is Jason. I asked him for his ID number and he started stuttering. I told him it wasn’t Apple and hung up. As previous person mentioned opened up safari from another link and deleted.

This guy ripped me off  how can I get my money back?

If you gave him a credit card or bank account information, contact the financial institution & let them know what happened. You might get your money back but no guarantee.

They are scammers . I was scammed for Itune gift card. They pop-up a virus screen & tell me to call 1-800-806-1467, then he asked me to buy itune gift card to pay a fixing fee

Yes, this number is a scam. I asked them to prove they were Apple and he hung up. I called Apple and the rep talked me through to get my safari working on my iphone I had to clear  my web browser.
