I received a call from Haster Law Offices and 1-800-806-2324 is the call back number given. I spoke with Kevin Chan, who represents himself as an attorney. IMO, this guy is slime and is nothing more than a sneaky low-life collection agent. Do not deal with him at all and search the 'net for info on Haster Law Office - they are a sham.

This place is disgusting... hang up on them.  Very rude and pushy.

All you have to do is call them at 1-800-606-6841 to have your number removed.  I've been getting collection calls on my number for the last 6 years for the previous owners who apparently owed a lot of people.

I called this place back.  They broke every law concerning debt collections.  It wasn't even me they were looking for.  I called and was treated very rudely- the "attorney" used profanity and tried to intimidate me.  If you call them back, make sure to record teh call so that you can file a lawsuit against them..  My attorney is teh next person I am calling.

Haster Law Offices called me and asked for me to call them back  at 1-800-806-2324 to ask for Jake Curtis.

This could be a rent-a-lawyer. A collection agency will do a deal with a lawyer where the lawyer will get a percentage if the collector can use their name so they sound more intimidating. I think I'll call ol' Jake Curtis tommorrow and record all his violations I'm sure I'll get. Places like this typically go after debts that are LONG past the Statute of Limitations that they buy for a penny on the dollar or less. The original creditor is long gone and you don't owe these people anything.
