Robocall. Recording says "there's been many suspicious activities, call back immediately or social will be suspended..." Doesn't say it's the SSA (they don't call unless you call them and even then they don't warn you. That's your responsibility to keep track of), just alludes to being SSA. Scam without a doubt! Don't call back. The robotic voice is a man's and it's not even quality! Jerks!

Warning! This is a Social Security Administration Scam number!

Gail is a male Bakrichod in this robo scam message:
    Quote:
Hi this is officer Gail stone from Social Security Administration I repeat this is officer Gail stone from Social Security Administration the nature of this call is to inform you about some legal enforcement actions filed on your social security number we have got an order to suspend your social at very right moment because we have found many suspicious activities on your social before we go ahead and suspend your number kindly call us back on our number which is 800-806-5816 I repeat it's 800-806-5816 thank you and goodbye.
    Listen to message

These knuckleheads don't have a clue how the real SSA works and they are hoping you don't either.
The SSA  doesn't file "law suits", nor can they issue Arrest Warrants. They also don't call people while "other" Federal Agencies "listen in".

The current scheme is they say your SSN is involved with a rental car found in southern Texas, with blood & drugs. Next theres some address they say was raided and discovered several bank accounts used for laundering money under your SSN, so they have to freeze your bank accounts and issue you a new SSN, but you have to secure your accounts by getting some gift cards ......pretty bizare "off-the-wall" story, its so hard not to laugh at them.

    • Only a STUPID scammer would leave a message telling you "someone" is using your SSN for criminal activities, then try to say your in trouble for something you didn't do!
    • Only a STUPID scammer would say "legal enforcement actions".
    • Only a scammer is going to call you and demand you pay them over the phone to avoid an Arrest Warrant, when it doesn't really exist. You would first have to go to Court and disobey a Court Order to get an Arrest Warrant issued.
If an Arrest Warrant was issued, you would have been informed long ago in Court, as a result of failure to comply with a Court Order and then a Sheriff would suddenly show up at your door to serve it, they don't warn you they are coming.
    • Your SSN can't be canceled, revoked or suspended because it is a number assigned to your birth name for Identification purposes, only scammers say it can. It IS your Identity as much as your name is.
    • New SSN must be applied for with a misuse report on the old one and its FREE.
    • Only a scammer asks you to pay using Gift Cards.
