Had a call from this number - no message...

I called the number back and it belongs to Suntrust. I got a recorded message to talk to the next available agent but I didn't wait to find out what they wanted.

the number IS NOT SUNTRUST! it is a scam to get your info! I just called the real Suntrust 876-786-8787   they are investigating!

I just got a call from this number too. No message left. Says it is Suntrust when I called and to have my pin number ready! They would have no need to ask for my pin number. It would be a way to be able to withdraw if they knew what account number goes with which name or phone number. Seems like the real Sun Trust would get to the bottom of this.

I just got a call from this number 5:03 pm, but did not answer and did not get a voicemail.
Interesting that everyone says it is SUNTRUST because I was logged into my Suntrust account online looking over my recent transactions at the same moment the phone rang. Is it possible someone over there can see I have logged on?
If they call again, I will answer to see what they want, but not give them any specific info.

We received a call from this same number, this is a valid SunTrust number, per SunTrust. It is their outbound sales line and the SunTrust sales rep should have left a message instead of just hanging up.  If you call a SunTrust number that you are familiar with, that rep will have no idea why the sales department called you.  I'm on hold with SunTrust right now and they confirmed this situation.  Try to answer that 800 call and get the sales rep off your back or just ignore their calls.
