I got a call from 1-800-813-1533. As a matter of policy I don't answer calls from unknown persons. And in this case, I didn't. The caller didn't leave any message either.

I don't even have ALLSTATE insurance!!! I canceled my policy with them because of how much they were RIPPING me off! I havn't had ALLSTATE in MONTHS. I called the number back and said if they call me again I would be consulting an attorney. I HATE people trying to sell me stuff over the phone!

If they call you, I didn't answer. Just call them back and you leave a message for someone.

This is a scam, this is not allstate, it is someone claiming to be allstate to get your credit card info.

Just got a call from this number stating they were from all state motor club. I just called my allstate agent and he told me that it is a legit company. The reason that people on the "no call list" for allstate may be reciving calls is because he said it is NOT the same company as allstate but they are legit and offer the same coverages as AAA.

Message left on answering machine was nothing more than an empty line with background noise. They have been calling daily using different phone numbers and IDs. Have contacted the local Allstate office and complained; manager apologized and said they would take care of it.

I also purchased a renter's policy about three weeks ago, received a solicitation by mail for roadside assistance 2 days ago, and a call with no message today. I will be stopping by my agent's office on my way home. If I get one more call I will file suit. I do not put up with this crap. I was under the impression that a reputable company like Allstate would no better, well they'll know me better if they persist in harassing me.

these people keep calling me, i just got insurance through allstate a couple of weeks ago, and i don't think this is them. the "scammers" have a few different numbers.  i asked for his name & a # to call him back at.  he said his name was BRIAN BALLENGER, the number he gave me to call is 1-800-516-2911. can't anything be done about this??? i am working on getting as much information as possible,  but i don't think it will help.

Do not give these people your info it is not Allstate. I work in a call center and the only way to get them to stop calling is you have to tell them exactly "PUT ME ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST" and legally they cannot call you anymore. good luck

I too got a call from a non 800 # and they stated they were representing ALLSTATE and had a promotion to offer me the plantinum motorclub membership, at a discounted rate. The promotion sounds amazing.  1.99 for 2 months - unlimited mileage for towing, roadside assistance, and all that jazz... After the 2 months its only 14.50-- I was ready to go for it, but didnt want to give my debit card # to just anyone. I asked for a # I can call back.. she advised me I wont get the same deal by calling back bc I would have to call the Motorclub directly, and she gave that # as 1-800-516-2911-- and then she said if I call her call center, for Ross Marketing its 319-266-5881-- I am going to check with Allstate first--- She, Maria says she can call me back tomor at the same time to conitinue my sign up process ( and get my credit card #)  ALSO, a note... I thought it was very odd that she had my old address and my new current phone number... where do they get our info from??  *** I JUST CALLED MY AGENT and they have no idea what this is... and they are going to call the corp office & get to the bottom of this n call me back to tell me IF ITS A SCAM OR NOT... if its real i want to get in on the great deal, but if not, then I will just ignore the call... it doesnt bother me that they call me, it bothers me that I almost gave my credit card info to someone who might not really be who they say they are.... It is a valid offer i used to work for Ross on behalf of Allstate Motor Club, its a great special offer and i took advantage of the great deal as well if you call the 1800 516 2911 number you can reach customer service who will let you know it is from a 3rd party vender but they are required to upsell to you just a "warning".... Im tellin ya the discounts alone are amazing i got it for the roadside assistasnce but keep it for the Caseys pizza discounts for game nights! :) hope you enjoy your membership as much as i do!

They called my cell phone at work & I told the chic I cldnt talk but she wldnt shut up.... So I unfortunately had to hang up on her. No calls back as of yet!!   - _ -

This phone number is calling my phone every day.  They don't leave a message and yet they continue to call.  One day they will give up.

Yes, but this still does not explain how they were able to (legally) call if you are on the Federal No Call List.

I don't recall ever giving permission to Allstate via my local office to call me to pitch any ancillary services, though I have obviously been in contact with them, and vice-versa, regarding claims and matters directly related to the Insurance product already purchased.
