Yes its Google adwords.

Yeah, it's Google Adwords.  I confirmed it by telling the lady I'd call her back to go through the prompts and her extension before giving her access to my customer ID.  Then I saw this number all over the internet from others saying it was Google Adwords.  She is helping me fine tune one of my campaigns that has been sitting.  Nice that they will do that for free.

It's google adwords.  They just want to make sure you're getting the best out of your adwords money.  They are calling because you gave consent for them to call you. When did you give consent, you ask? You gave consent when you signed up for AdWords.  (Read the service agreements, people!)

Great customer support and services. Google really helped me get my company up and running with online advertising, started seeing results within the first week. This really helped, thank you Google!

I was getting about 6 calls a day on my digiGENICS business line.  Everytime I picked up the phone, there was no one there.  We are a Google Adwords Partner, so I am not sure how we ended up on this call list.  I just called them and told them that we are a Google Adwords Partner.  They were very nice.  They put me on their do not contact list until I am ready.  I hope this helps.

WTF....  Don't try and post some BS thing saying how great Google is for telespamming.  Its pathetic.  They know they are being evil by doing this.  Let's get real.

I've never had any dealings with Google, I don't even use their search engine or Youtube. Don't tell me they are calling just because I gave them consent. Well they are in the block list now so they can have fun trying to call again.

I never heard of google adwords. Nor do i have a need for outside marketing so why the heck would i sign up let alone gove permission to be spammed. So the best thing i can do i complain because i am on a do not call list

The number they called is on the Do-Not-Call list.  They've called multiple times. Multiple Complaints filed.

Google Engage Team (AdWords related).  

They're calling me because I signed up to be in this program.  Hard to think that they cold-calling random people.  To those of you who have nothing to do with Google, it's possible that somebody accidentally put your number in when signing up, or there is some other misunderstanding.

It doesn't matter if you're on a Do-Not-Call list if you give the company your phone number for any reason. And if somebody else gave them your number, misrepresenting their own phone number by giving them yours, then Google may be unaware that they have the wrong number.

So try telling them that the number they have on the account for which they are calling is not correct and you would like it removed to prevent further calls.

Complaining to FCC or other organizations isn't going to get as much accomplished. This isn't about telemarketing to random people.

They just phoned me, and I couldn't understand what they were saying as I'm on a train right now. Googled this number and saw it's Google Adwords. Makes sense as I just applied for a Google Adwords campaign last week.

I will confirm what Mark said above.  I am a Google Advertiser and run many accounts.  I would agree that they are not cold-calling people randomly and it doesn't matter if you are on a Do-Not-Call list.  They are only trying to service their customers.  I can't speak for why they would call you if you are not.

If you are not a Google Advertiser and they call, I believe it would a safe bet to answer the phone and tell them so.

First of all these people do not work for GOOGLE. they are just another company trying to make money off listing you on google something you can do yourself for free. Second of all these people are lying scum. I actually answerd this call for some reason. He said he was with google and was concerned about my listing that I had them list as there were discrepancies in my listing. I said oh really? And which website are you referring to? His answer was "your website". I said ok so which one as I have many. He again said it was my website. I asked him what the domain name was. He could not come up with an answer. LOL..... what a moron. I laughed and asked him why he could not answer me as to which website he was referring to? Again he said it was "My Website". I asked him if he even knew who he was talking to? Silence. then I asked him if the doamin was called "mywebsite.com". He hung up. Scammers scammers scammers. Scumbags! Lyaing cheats. why would anyone do business with someone who starts off the relationship with a lie? Oh wait. they just want your CC# so they can rob you blind. thats why.

Also if they were really google adwords tell me this. There is no customer service phone number for Google anything. It is all done through e-mail.

I take it back. There is a number but this is not it.
