- Sam replies to Sam| 1 replyEverybody can make a formal complain with the Better Business Bureau. The Chicago and N Illinois division has the company's information on file, so it's easy to navigate.
This was my complaint:
Here are two sites full of complaints:

Here's the contact information I have, thus far:

Here's my actual complaint:
They're harassing more people than I can count on my fingers. They're rude, they curse, yell, and demand. They're impolite. They call every five minutes, at odd hours of the day/night. I've spoken to at least four different people. Adam Blaha being the main one who's threatened me, hung up on me, and cursed and yelled at my younger (minor) sister. They have incorrect 'account information'. I've only spoken to one nice person, there, and I didn't catch her name. I, actually, told her about all my dealing/s with her company and Adam Blaha, and she sounded as if she knew exactly what I was talking about, as if many people have the same issue. This young lady said they wouldn't call anymore.
But then, just five minutes ago, I get another call from them, and the woman was belligerent, rude, yelled at me, and then hung up on me. I had told her about my dealings with her and her company, as well, and how I was told nobody would call anymore. After she hung up on me, I proceeded to call her back, after she gave me her number and extension (18008372434 ext4470), and she didn't answer.
After that woman didn't answer, I called the Bensenville Police Department who listened to my complaint but then told me they couldn't do anything about it since I don't live nearby and can't come in. I don't have anything against the police department, there (the young lady was very nice through talking with me), but something really needs to be done. I'm having to change my phone number so this company and it's unprofessional and rude employees don't call anymore.
They leave threatening messages. When we try to call them back, nobody answers. Not even the 'Operator'. Not to mention the fact that the company voicemail sounds completely unprofessional, and like a scam; actually, all of the staff voicemails, do, as well. Not just that, but their number doesn't come up on anybody's caller ID, it's just "0" or "000000" or "Unknown" or "Hidden".
I know at least five families, personally, that would be eternally grateful, if this business stopped calling them, if they weren't able to be put out of business. - Liz| 1 replyI received this txt msg on my phone from a weird number which is 3521 saying that my VISA account is closed due to unusual activity and to call them at 1-888-780-5082. First of all I do not have a VISA credit card. I do have a VISA Debit Card through my bank. I called that number back and all it does is ask you to enter your 16 digit debit card number. I didn't enter it because I don't know how they got my cell number and for all I know they are probably trying to get access to my accounts. Can some one please let me know if they have received a text message like this?
- Sam replies to tricky nickOkay, so we don't answer. They still keep calling, so that problem goes unsolved.
I have no problem paying money, if I owe it. But I don't. - virgieI also received a very rude call from a man named George Lowe
it would not say what he wanted or who he wanted at this number
just kept trying to give me a reference number. What a jerk- Caller: Biehl & Biehl
- JOYCE B9/14/09 9:25 AM This number called our company phone and left a message. I played the recording at least five times trying to understand the name and number. Could never understand the name so I Googled the phone number. I will not call them back. If they can't nicely state who they are and what they want they do not get call backs. I found the name by reading these reports.

- JaredThey just called me for the 20th time. I again explained that I canceled and paid off my subscription to the Star Tribune Newspaper (Twin Cities, MN) and that I owe nothing. They just start yelling and telling me that I owe the money. I called the Star Tribune and they stated they could do nothing..although I canceled the paper. I would never buy any products that Tribune puts out..what a bunch of hacks.
- Patti replies to They are a collection agencyYou obviously do not know the meaning of professional. I am recording the next time you call and I will be the one filing a harrassment case against you and your so called professional employees. Threatening to come over and beat me is not professional and the use of inappropriate language can have someone believe the call is a prank! There is nothing but negative comments about your so called reputable company!
- bmacThis company keeps calling in ref. to a bill from The Baltimore Sun.... a Tribune paper. I've told both The Sun and the collection company to send me an itemized statement showing how they arrived at their bill amount and I'd be happy to pay any amount actually due. They won't itemize a bill because they had been taking my prior multiple payments and only crediting them toward one month and not carrying any credit forward. They both refuse to send a statement. Obviously, they don't want to put their dishonesty in writing .... so they keep calling! My family says I should pay it just to get them off my back, but these people are wrong, nasty, and dishonest. I'll sue their butts if this goes any further than phone calls. So far, nothing on credit reports.

- MarineCorpSoldier replies to mash| 1 reply******READ THIS VERY IMPORTANT**** This company is bogus. I received a call and the guy asked for me and I asked what this was in reference to and he said an unpaid debt. Low and behold I paid this debt off directly with Sear 5 years ago. Apparently these bogus collection agencies are purchasing names and numbers from some bogus name broker who sells out dated debt information. These agencies then pretend that the debt is still owed (in some cases it is), but in my case it was paid. The debt HAS TO BE VALID to be collectible as per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Regulation Z The Truth in Lending Act. As per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act a debt has to be valid to be collectible. Once a debt collector calls and "claims" you owe a debt, you then tell the collector to validate the debt, by telling you what the amount is, who the original creditor was, how much they purchased the debt for, who assigned the debt to them, what legal grounds do they have to collect on the debt etc and PRODUCE a copy of the original document with your SIGNATURE on it (which is impossible. Once you do this, the debt collector MUST STOP ALL COLLECTION ACTIVITY until THEY VALIDATE THE DEBT. They cannot call you at home or work, send collection notices, pull your credit report, nothing...UNTIL THEY VALIDATE the debt. And, trust me, they cant validate the debt because they cant produce the document with your original signature on it. I then had my name copy written. Totally legal and very easy to do. I put a one million dollar unauthorized use fee on each and every instance of use of my private copy written property. So if they use my name seven times, I will send them a bill for $7 million dollars. They want to use fear, scare and intimidation tactics to try and collect on bogus debts. I will employ legally perfected copyright laws to protect my name (the mark of the beast - your all capital name - look at your bills, drivers, lic, birth cert, social sec card etc. your name is in all caps and that is not the real flesh and blood you, its a fiction that only fictional companies recognize) Your all caps name is a corporation (look up "person" in a law dictionary). I served my country and I swore to protect my country from all enemies foreign and domestic. These bogus collection companies are domestic enemies. Protect your name and send them a bill. Trust me they will realize its not worth one million dollars to try and collect on a few thousand dollars in bogus debt. I love me country, my name and my life. All debt in this country can only be paid with debt. There is no REAL (GOLD or SILVER) money in circulation. We have a private bank (FEDERAL RESERVE) controlling our money. Wake up America. Abolish the FED. Anyone can put FEDERAL in front of there name. the FEDERAL RESERVE is NOT a government agency. They are private and how is it they control our money. From one Marine to my fellow Americans protect yourselves.

- Diane| 1 replyI tried to cancel my subscription to the Chicago Tribune for months via phone. Every time I called to cancel, paid my bill, they would keep sending me the paper again and then I'd receive another bill. This went on for months. The last time I called I made it super super clear I no longer wanted to receive the paper delivered to my house. The newspaper stopped coming and I never got another bill-this was back in January. In May,2010, I started receiving numerous phone calls from Biehl and Biehl left on my home phone while I was at work never identifying what the alleged debt was for or with whom. Today, I finally had the time to call Biehl and BIehl and found out it was for $22.50 from the Chicago Tribune for newspaper service from Feb-March which I never received a bill for. Apparently, this is what the Trib does-you cancel, they keep sending you the newspaper anyway and instead of sending a bill, they turn it over to a debt collector. I sent the $22.50 to the Tribune and reported the abuse, but I'm sure nothing will change. Be careful when you subscribe to the Tribune-it's like fatal attraction-once they get their hooks into you, they'll never let go.

- RalphI've over simplified my particular issue, but suffice it to say that like most people here, I too have had trouble with a Newspaper demanding paymet on a defective claim. I too tried to deal directly with the newspaper, (Newsday in NY). But Newsday turned it over to Biehl & Biehl.
Although Biehl & Biehl, (B&B), are NOT a member of the Better Buisness Bureau (BBB), people with problems dealing with B&B could try a asking the BBB for help.
Oh Yes, although B&B are NOT members of the BBB, neverthless, the BBB has had dealings with B&B, and they have given B&B an "F".- Caller: Biehl & Biehl

- RalphPS: I forgot to mention that Biehl & Biehl, (just like their client, Newsday), refuses my request that they provide documentation of their claim for $45, (they just call me up and demand money). But Biehl & Biehl agent, (he refused to give me his name),said is essentially he would blackmail me, ie, if I refuse to pay the $45 without documentation, he would report it to the credit reporting agencies.
