- Steve replies to Mike| 1 replyI don't like them either. They're charging me for 100 Meg internet and I'm only getting about 62. I complained once and they bumped it back up to 100m and now it's back down again. I'm going to cancel and try Fios.

🌴🐞🌴 - Tami| 1 replyI thought I would give Time Warner/Spectrum one more chance. I had a scheduled appointment for today, a Saturday. They never showed, so when I called to follow up, they said my appointment was Monday. Oh, no! I would never had made an appt. on a work day. They were not going to keep my appt., and make me reschedule, when it was THEIR mistake! That is poor customer service!

- Slim replies to TamiThis is NOT "Angie's List"
It is a site to help identify unknown callers. - JoeyDee| 2 repliesProbably Spectrum. I had a service change a few weeks ago and this could be a customer satisfaction follow up but with "unknown" for their caller ID the calls will never be answered here.

- JoeyDee replies to JoeyDee| 1 replyReplying to my own post from yesterday: Now I don't know if it was really Spectrum or a scammer. The phone number they called is my Spectrum phone number, recently acquired, but no one in the world has that number, even Spectrum. The only number I registered on my Spectrum account is a different number. It's possible the folks at Spectrum called that number, as it's the one they assigned me, but since it's not the number on my profile, I'm doubting this now. At any rate, don't answer numbers you don't recognize.
- Don't Bother replies to SteveDon't bother - FIOS is worse.
- ConfirmingI can say that this number can be legitimate as I had some issues with my Time Warner-Spectrum cable box and after I called them initially and then again after I received a replacement box, I got this call and answered a simple satisfaction survey each time. I answered, because I was expecting the call. That said, scammers can spoof this number I guess, so be vigilant.
Why Time Warner uses an "Unavailable" CID with an 800 0number is beyond me - in this day and age, it is stupid to do that as most people will ignore it or report it as a possible scam on sites likes this.- Caller: Time Warner/Spectrum
- Call type: Survey
- RMI had spoken to a customer service representative at Spectrum earlier today, and she told me that I would be called with a survey to rate how satisfied I was with the service I received. Well, I picked up for this number and sure enough, it was Spectrum/TWC, but it said "we will try to contact you again later" .... something was broken, it must have thought I was an answering machine and it never gave me the survey.

- sara replies to JoeyDeeGot a call from this #, ignored it. No message left. I did not call Spectrum recently and they don't have my mobile #, so I'm thinking this was a scammer faking the CID.

- Michael replies to MA20This is not Time Warner Cable. This is a scam. They are posing as them to get people to pay over due bills which of course there isn't one. Don't be fooled by this.
- jimSpectrum automated survey. I answered but didn't say anything. The machine gave up after a minute.I had just finished up a call with them.

- GundoLooseSatisfaction survey call. It was literally less than 5 minutes after completing a prolonged call with then re continued internet issues. Blaming my router not their equipment, despite a fresh out of the box router. Agent wanted to keep troubleshooting despite face I decided on scheduling a service call.

- Jo replies to Barc777Spoke to Asia after receiving a bill that was $15 higher than my last bill. She said my promotional period was up. I said that since I only have cable (no premium channels or phone service) I felt that the $150 was too expensive. She just kept repeating what she said previously. I told her that I would be terminating my service with your company as soon as I could get the equipment to the cable store. She said ok and have a good day. Very upset and dissatisfied with the bill and the way it was handled!!!!!!! Since FIOS is in my area and also offering great discounts for new customers, it seems my only option.
- SueI called Spectrum (Time Warner) re: upgrading equipment. About 10 minutes later, we got a call from a toll-free #. Didn't answer the call, which appeared on caller ID as "TOLL FREE NUMBER" (typical if we don't recognize the info on caller ID). Searched the # on the internet to find out it was Time Warner. Oh well.
