Keeps calling but won't leave VM

Asked for Tom Somethingorother.  I informed him it was a wrong number.  He repeated my number.  I said yes that's my number, but no Tom lives here.  He asked to leave a message for Tom.  I said again he had a wrong number and no Tom lives here.  His reply "Well, this is the last number we have for Tom." and repeated my number again.  I told him he has the wrong number and not to call back.  He asked if I just got the number.  No, had it for nine years.  He asked if he could again leave a message for Tom.  I asked why he would want to leave a message for someone who doesn't live here and that he was being an ass.  He hung up on me...  Wish I knew who they were so I could give them a call.

Received another call for Tom today, but this time with caller id 877-345-5319.  This time I asked them to identify themselves.  They are Pinnacle Financial Group (800-334-2814)...a debt collector.  Fortunately, after explaining what happened yesterday and that they had the wrong number this new rep agreed to remove my phone number from their records.

Received constant phone calls from Pinnacle Company.
Called telephone company, they gave me a solution to this problem.
When the phone rings pick it up wait for a connection then hang up and hit *57 on your phone, after 3 times it will block their toll free number and the legal system will be notified as being harassed by the so-called company.
