Received a call from this number. No voice message left.

I have been contacted twice at 8:30 in the morning both times.  I call the number back & it's something about foreclosures, bankruptcy, etc.  I don't know who these people are but I'm not behind in any of my bills.

Someone Drove up to my house and told my to Call GMAC At this Number, and said it was for bankruptcy,
Also said it was Enterprise corp.
Not behind on anything.

Received SEVERAL of calls from this #.  I would call back and it stated foreclosures, bankruptcy, etc.  I did a Google search on the number and it showed GMAC.  I finally called and the lady I spoke with said that she wqas from a collection agency.  Would not tell me which.  Finally after demanding she remove my number from the list she said they are an outsourced company who collection on GMAC Mortgages.  Problem is, I do not have a mortgage through GMAC.  Sounds fishy to me.

Keeep getting calls from this number daily, an automated message is left but it's cut off and i only hear "Thursdays Between this time and that time"

I called them back and it's about foreclosures and bankruptcies. I don't own a house or have a mortgate out?
This is definitely the wrong number and can't reach a person.

Got a call today. It said to call back GMAC at 8008504622.

I have received 30 calls on my Cell #, I have talked to at least 7 people at GMAC, advised I'm not Russell Gardner in Ok., they have agreed to get my # off the auto dialer.  It has not happened yet, help I will do what ever is necessary to get GMAC a huge fine for harassment, imcompetent help, etc.  The employee's in Waterloo, Iowa barely know English!!!

I keep getting that same automated call from "GMAC". I'm NOT behind on any payments with them. I've called the no. a couple of times but WILL NOT EVER give someone my SS no. over the phone. I just hang up. Mainly because I think it's very suspicious that when their automated answering system picks up they don't identify themselves as GMAC. All it says is "welcome to the default division..." WHO'S default division??!!!! VERY SUSPICIOUS!!!

Keep getting spammed witht these calls from this number 1 800 850-4622. I Do not have a GMAC Mortgage.
I Asked many times for them to remove me from their autodialing list. They have refused. Spoke with a Billy, she was a woman.

continues to call after i call and tell them that they have the wrong phone number

A creepy guy keeps coming by my place leaving these slips of paper and bugging my family.  We rent a home and the homeowners are current on all mortgage payments, but he keeps coming every few months or so.

Left a message on my cell phone for me to call between these hours by calling there 1-800 phone number.

I did a little research online about this company. It may be a legit collections agency exclusive to GMAC Mortgage. But why they are calling so many people, including us, who do not have debt with them, is unbeknownst to me. When searching GMAC Mortgage, their web site came up. I wanted to find out what this number, 1-800-850-4622 was. I found on their site 1-800-850-4622, 1-800-260-3418, 1-800-766-4622, and then finally (listed as their collections department at the bottom of the page) 1-800-850-4622 which is the number many of us have received calls from. It states that their representatives are avaialabe pretty all the time. However, when calling the number, there is no one to be reached, as has been my experience. It's just all automated which is 'fishy' to me. We also are not behind on any payments, have no bankruptcies, forclosures, etc. There is no reason for their calling us. I called the phone company to see if there was anything that can be done about stopping or blocking their calls. According to my service plan, this 800 number should be blocked but is not. The police & FBI probably most likely won't consider it a threat so that probably won't help at all, either. I am not sure what else to do except for ignore the calls. Do not even call them back. For what reason? If you have no debt with them, then there is something up with why they are calling and I would simply deem them as a dangerous company and ignore. Do not give personal information out even if you do happen to reach a live person. There is limited or no information that they seem to have provided about themselves so I would just beware. Scary.

Well appearantly I got a phone number from a guy that didn't like to pay his bills & this is one of four or five collection agencies trying to contact him.  So far all including this one have been cooperative in removing my number from their lists.

Last time I checked I grew up learning English in our fine American schools. I live and work in Waterloo. GMAC Mortgage is one of many large employers in our area. To say that we do not speak English is like saying Mexicans don't speak Spanish. If you ever have a problem ask that the call be escalated to to a Team Lead. The other option is to call customer service. It bothers me when you claim that I do not speak English inside the confines of the US. Try calling DELL or HP, they are the ones that can not speak English. Are you sure you were speaking English when you called?

If the property is not owner occupied or IF the payment is not received in the current month, GMAC and other Mortgage companies employ contractors to "inspect" the property and inform the owner to call there mortgage company.
