This number keeps calling me with noone on the line.

Answered, and they hung up. Jerks.

called at annoying supper hour, no message left, only sound like a throat being cleared.

keep getting calls from this number, at first I would answer, when I said hello it took like 30secs for someone to answer, I would just hang up. I watched a documentary about Telemarketing in India and they call Canada and US alot so be careful when you answer.
I have to say, thanks for the do not call list and the internet...I wouldn't have known who was calling if it wasn't for this site, thanks for all those who posted #'s

Got two calls from this number at work today (in Hull, Quebec). Both times there was no one speaking on the other end.

Same thing, received a call today at work, didn't leave a message.

MBNA?  How did anyone get ahold of the owner of the number, it's not listed anywhere I looked!

Received about 5 calls over the last few days. No message left and no answer.

You have to answer the call to find out is MBNA, and they just called me (my husband has an MBNA MasterCard).  I got sick of them calling so finally decided to pick it up and deal with it ;-)

I basically get a call a day from this number now, but no longer answer.

This no. has been calling me at work for almost 2 weeks - and more than once a day! I picked up once and got hung up on!  Anyway, I called the no. back - the co. is a communications co. that does "market research" for "fortune 500 companies."  If you call the no. back, there's an option to have your number removed from their call list.  I've done this now..maybe I'm just being optomistic but am hoping this'll work!  Thanks to everyone for posting on this!! Really helpful site!

This organization has called multiple times - with no one on other end.  Calls same time of day (late morning).

Called number back - recorded message identified themselves as Gemma Communications.  Their automated system had option to remove my number from their call list.  Did that today - their message said it would take 24 hours.  Looked them up online.  Their contact info is as follows:

This number has been calling us numerous times a day as well.  When you answer - no response! What's the purpose!!??? So I called it back and got a voice message saying if you wanted your number removed from the list. Hit 1. So I hot 1 and an electronic voice confirmed my number. Then to confirm it I hit 1 again!  Let's see what happens!

GEt on the "Do not call list" and file a complaint

Got three calls from this number Nov 5 1:38P.M., Nov 7 3:23P.M, Nov 8 10:27A.M. Did not answer...

They said they were calling from MBNA, but they weren't.
When I insisted that I didn't want a credit card, the clerk simply hanged up, no sorry, no excuse, no goodbye. Real professionals...  

We should all send complaints to MBNA about Gemma's services.

MBNA. Line is always dead when I pick up. Called them to remove my # off solicitation list.
