Constant calling, I don't owe money and they keep calling for someone else.

Maybe you should get your numbers right and I wouldn't have to get calls for Teri Tucker and Raymond McCkracken all day long. All my bills are paid and everything I own is paid for. I am a retired detective and I do not like being bothered by incompetents annoying me to try to find bounty money.I called again and this time I told them I want my name number off the list. Next time is the third strike and I will file a complaint for monetary damages. Now go fish somewhere else.

Something about alliance...that they want to talk to the consumer of the house hold....it is a recording.....very annoying...calls all the time....when i answer they want me to hold. The last time I did this I held for 23 minutes before the number disconnected.....I was pissed.

Someone with that number has called me several times and even sent a letter to an address that is not mine claiming I owe money on an account I've never had. I have tried to call back and all I get is a busy signal. I am going to report this agency to the state Attorney General's office, as they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I would suggest that anyone who has received similar fraudulent phone calls from this number do the same in your state.

This is a toll-free number to return a call from FMA Alliance, a debt-collection agency based in Houston. You may visit their website at http://www.fmaalliance.com, which advises you "this is an  attempt to collect a debt."

I recieved a call from them today,they left a message but just saying to call them back at that number...never said a company name or what it was for, just to call them back. They are a collections agency. They knew my social#, then wanted to set up payments for a credit card i forgot about. ??? Sons-a-@#$*#'s

I don't know how these people got my number but this is insane...calling asking for someone else.  Got a message on my machine from a Veronica Morris from SMA Alliance regarding a personal matter. Was told to have the person call back 800-856-0420 X 7073 but caller Id has a private number 281-670-1527. Can anything be done???

my neighbor just came by and told me that someone from FMA Alliance called him and asked them some personal questions about me and my husband. "Are they going to work, do they seem like they are having money problems". I was not embarrassed at all due to the fact that noone is paying their credit cards anymore. However, I was not happy knowing that they are inconveniencing my neighbor and telling my neighbor things they didnt need to know which was my personal business. Everybody owes somebody.

The message: "Hello my name is Shelly Cole calling to confirm location information concerning [name that is not even remotely similar to ours]. Please contact my office at 1-800-856-0420 extension 7165. Thank you."

I have been getting calls from FMA Alliance for a while.  Now I seem to be getting calls from Edna Mae (or Mae Edna) at the above number.

They called looking for Una Bolen.  I told them there was no one here by that name and they hung up.

This company, fma 800-856-0402, called us to deliver a message to our neighbor to call them about a very important matter. we thought it would be good to know who we were talking to so we checked the net. we never delivered the message and don't intend to.

please stop calling and harrasing people and stop your threats. You people are doing your job but dont call me I dont owe you nothing.

That is the message I receive - I am not that person - this is my phone, I pay the bills - I do not owe NCO - I don't know who they are -  how do I stop them from calling?

Called and when we picked up the phone no one was there.

Evidently the new law about munging the Caller ID is of no concern. When it passes, watch and see just how little (i.e., NONE) enforcement there is. Under the Federal "Do Not Call" list, in six years there's been ZERO prosecutions.

I receive phone call at 7:30am and I know that is illegal......

I like to call the president and officers of the companies at home. Hey they call my house right. They ask for someone who doesn't live there and say this is an alternative #. I know the debtor and this was never and alternative # for them. Just chat be friendly...

Called my work place and identified herself as "Mrs. Stevens." Since I was not in, she left a message saying that she was returning "my" call.  They are a debt collector.

We have been receiving calls almost every day - for weeks. Now we don't answer but sometimes press three I think saying the person - we have no idea who the person is - is not here. You can't call the number back - it goes nowhere.

I called the company number - the 800 number listed above and the answered it at 8 PM. I explained we had been receiving calls - we don't know who the person is - and gave our phone number saying they have a wrong number. I also mentioned I would file a complaint if the calls did not stop. She "said she would pass it along to a supervisor" and the phone number would be taken off of their lists. I told her what shows up in caller ID and she did not say it was not their call.  I find it hard to believe but will see what happens. If they continue we will file complaints.
