They called me at 0800 and then again at 1127.  They wanted Steve Miller, and then Steven Webster the next time.  They said it was a reminder about my Associated Bank Credit Card.  No one came on the line, but they said if I got disconnected to call 18008669900.  I called 1877 ID theft.

They left a message. Claimed they were Citibank. I called back. They tried to get me to give them my credit card number. Then they tried to get me to give them my social security number. Then they tried to get the last 4 of my social security number. Definitely criminals.

Said they were Citicards, not Citibank.  I don't have an account with them, so there was no reason for them to call other than to steal my identity.  After being on hold for a while, I spoke to a representative and had the number removed from their system.

Someone called from phone # 1-816-420-1002 and ID themselves as calling from Citibank. They said they wanted to collect 130.00 due on my credit card. My credit card is not past due. They asked me to verify information such as verification of my social security etc. I would not give them the information. I asked to talk to a manager. They put me on hold and the recording said that I should call 800-866-9900 if I were to get disconnected. I did get disconnected and I google this phone number, just to make sure it was in fact Citibank. Then I called Citibank credit card services. I confirmed that they never called.
It seems that they are trying to steal our information !

I got the same call .  The automated message said my name and then asked me to enter my zip to verify my details.   I can easily see someone falling for this and divulging all their personal information.   I wish there was someway to trace the call back to its origin.

Received a call who said they were from Citibank. First there was an automation saying this call is for Ryan Wills, if this is Ryan Wills push 1, if wrong number push 2 and stay on phone until representative comes on to help you.  Representative came on phone said his name was Migel and asked my phone number appologized and said my phone number would be removed.

Same complaint as most of the above.  But after the fifth call in the same day, I answered and figured I might as well play their dirty little game.
Had fun giving them bad info for a while just to tie up their time.  Finally, I gave him Trump's dirty little message, 'go @@#$ yourself and hung up.

Received automated calls on a daily basis several days in a row. Message said "Citibank" and asked to call 800-866-9900 and enter six-digit pin number.
Called the number three times during business hours; three different female voices with different accents answered; only one spoke Standard English. All three used different greetings; all three asked different information to verify the caller:
1st asked for "account number & Social Security Number,"
2nd asked for "First & Last name",
3rd asked for "credit card number."
Yesterday, answered the call & spoke to "Sara." Sara did not introduced herself; bad English; did not identify department of type of account. Sara really wanted to verify the name associated with the phone number she called. I offered that she provided her direct number or extension & I would call right back, Sara refused. She disconnected saying that she would speak only to a person whose name she tried to pronounce.
Definitely fraudsters phishing for personal info.

I spoke to a representative who told me there is an issue with my CitiBank account.  I don't have a Citi account.  They asked for my social security number which I would not give them and I hung up.

    Good Advice!
Scammers can spoof that number and even an name in your caller ID.  It is always safer to thank take down the info, not confirm or offer personal info, and then call back on a number you trust.
