- JanReceived a message on my voice mail with no name of company only that Wanese (sp?) was looking for someone named Victor Phillips. I called back and let her know that I did not know anyone by that name. She said that it had come up as a possible number for this person but that she would remove my number from their file. She was very nice about it, and I hope that she does indeed remove it.
- LeeIt is from Sterling Jewelers. Its not fraud. It is credit and they are collecting debt. When you fill out a card for the company they ask you for a referance you can put anyone down so if they dont pay the bill you will get a call.
- RoseI got a message from my answering machine said that this is a second call from
Jared's, the Galleria of Jewelers and she wanted me to call her back at ext 28. I called her back and I asked her who was she looking for because I was not recognite the name on the machine. She spelled out the name which I didn't know who is he ( or she). I told her that and she said that she will remove my phone number from their list. She was very nice when I talked to her.- Caller: Jared's jewelers

- Had It With Calls replies to robert| 4 repliesGot a message left on my answering machine that the call was for my son ( he has his own house and his own phone number ) . The caller ID showed STERLING JWLR 540-548-8130 the woman said for my son to call 1-800-877-7350 and ask for Shakana at ext. 30. Well I checked out the number that showed up on the caller ID ( 540-548-8130 STERLING JWLR ) that number belongs to Gloria Valdez 10817 Cedar Post Ln. Spotsylvania, VA 22553-1625. If the caller ID shows STERLING JWLR why does my check up on it show the number belongs to a Gloria Caldez??!!! Kind of makes you think maybe this is a scam not a collections call.
- Had It With Calls replies to Had It With Calls| 2 repliesFound a phone number for Kay Jewelers and called it asking about a call I received. The lady said the 800-877-7350 ext.30 was one of their numbers for collections, but she could not tell me why on my caller ID it would show STERLING JWLR 540-548-8130 and on the reverse phone lookup it showed Gloria Valdez from Va. as the owner of the number! At least now we know that the 800-877-7350 number is legitament!
- enuff-is-enuffThis lady calls my mom. She told my mom that she was from sterling jewelers and we were co-workers and she was trying to get my phone number. Of course, my mom didn't give it to her. She said her name was Ebony. Left this number with ext. 27. How did she get my mom's info?

- Nikki| 2 repliesDown right stalkers. Its Sterling Jewelers,(Kay's, Jared, JBR) they call about 40 times a week. I owe like 200 bucks, its ridiculous, i will be sending a certified cease and desist letter, I may be past due but I do not deserve to be harassed.
- Caller: Sterling Jewelers

- Barry replies to NikkiJust call them back and they will stop callling you. It cracks me up that you complain they call 40 times a day, I'm sure they "try" 40 times a day, answer and talk to them and they will stop. You did leave their store with the "promise" to pay them back, now apparently you don't have the money to follow through, yet you still have their jewelry and want to complain that they call, lol.
- AnonymJust tell the person you KNOW it is a scam...and hang up!
- Caller: kay jewelers' corporate office
- wth. replies to crankyexact same "woman" called my cell talking about my boyfriend and i was his reference. asking him to call back tomorrow. sounded like a man to me. ridiculously creepy.
- CKCollections for Kay Jewlers, the rep that called me was frustrating and insisting that I pay immediately. He transferred me to his supervisor who was extremely helpful. She dropped my payment by almost half and told me as soon as I make that payment my account would be out of collections. On Monday I'll go into the store to pay my lower monthly payment and we'll see what happens.
Again... we'll see.- Caller: Kay Jewlers

- HateScamCalls replies to Had It With CallsSo, when you called Kay jewelers directly, were they helpful? What did they suggest to get these people to stop calling you? I got a similar call for the first time from "kay jewelers", and immediately looked it up to see if this was a scam, because the man they were asking for "john amos" is a name we've never heard of, so that's what made me think this was a scam! Or they're phishing for information. Like, if you call them to tell them they have the wrong number, then they start asking alot of personal questions (your name, address, number, etc.) under the guise that they are verifying something, and promise "they'll take your number off the list", but they're lying and the info they've just gotten from you about yourself, they then use it on you and start coming after you. I've read about this happening, so I am apprehensive to even call them and tell them we never heard of this person they're looking for, because I'm thinking they ALREADY know that. This is just a scam to phish for information.
So when you called Kay, did the calls stop, or did they continue. Because if calling them does nothing, then I think we're better off just ignoring them. Once you call, and they are a scam outfit, then you go on their list of "live ones", and you probably never get rid of them calling! - HateScamCalls replies to Had It With CallsSo, when you called Kay jewelers directly, were they helpful? - debijpKeeps calling our home asking for someone who doesn't live there, digs for personal information & when we refuse to supply this info, they get very nasty like we have done something wrong. If these people are going to call your home, asking for people who you don't know or do not live at your address, they should be more polite about the constant pestering of innocent people who have nothing to do with who they are looking for. This is outragious & they call at all hours hoping that maybe by magic this person who you have no idea is will appear.
insane- Caller: unknown & won't supply

- jenna replies to Nikkiyou should still pay your bill... matter of fact, if you were they wouldnt be calling you at all... Dont spend money you dont have.
- Not Me| 1 replyGot the same call as reported by others here. BS scam. I don't owe any jewelry store anything.
I hate these annoying calls. Seems like my Do-Not-Call list is not working.- Caller: Kay Jewelers
- commonsense replies to Not Methe do not call list only applies to solicitors, clearly they are not solicitors,,
- commonsense replies to Had It With Callsever think the listed you pulled might be old? you know numbers do get recycled... just saying
