- B-Edwards replies to Rich Johnson| 1 replyProbably SHILL - Probable Scam -- How do you happen to be on this site, and posting in this thread, and touting something that is none of your business? Just landed here by accident and wanted to do a good deed? I'm calling bs on that. You don't have info on a phone number to share, do you?
To anyone who reads this and is concerned that this may be scam to steal your banking info, The Safe thing to do is call the phone number on the back of your card, or from a statement. That way you know you are reaching your bank. - CelticDragon replies to B-EdwardsLooks like you bagged another bird there Birdie!

- LLopintoThey are fraudsters trying to get information. There is no bank of Omaha. The guy was so ridiculous. When I asked the location of his bank he said Tennessee, then Oama, didn't know the address, was rude. These are ridicoulous internet frausters who post LEGIT flags to try to stop people from reeally warning you. You can look me up, I am the real deal and these guys are after your money. It will be sad when the FBI storms their office tomorrow. You see, they are good at lying but too stupid to realize you cannot hide on the internet. They don't like to talk to smart people, but have some fun, ask them ridiculous questions.

- 8008777408Sam claims to be department of First National Bank of Omaha. Wants your Credit Card number and social security for lookup claiming someone took a credit card fraudulently in your name. With this data they can do a lot of damage to you. Called First National Bank of Omaha. They never heard of them. Ripoffreport.com lists them as a scam. Per First National Bank of Omaha no real bank would ask for this data by phone. They are bold scammers. They leave a number, they call you back, play the game all the way seemingly not worried they will be caught. Why? They work for ISIS. If you wonder how terrorists ever make so much money to make bombs, this is how. There is an American sucker willing to give you their SS and CC any minute, and enough insurance and stupid banks and credit card companies out theer using archaic methods of identification. It's too damm easy. So, my suggestion is, have fun with them. When they do ask for your SS, do what I do. Spell out your favorite curse word and hang up.

- Tired of scammersWoman called from 800-877-7408 and sounded legitimate. She said there was fraud activity on the VISA card. 800-877-7408 was not listed on the bank's list of numbers to contact for fraud activity. 800-877-7408 IS A SCAM. NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION OVER THE TELEPHONE.
- almThis number was legitimately First National Bank of Omaha's fraud detection department. I had just made a donation online and they called not even 10 minutes later to verify the charge. When I asked what the flag was, they said that charities are prime targets for fraudsters. They'll start with small amounts and keep increasing until they are stopped. Worth checking into if they call.

- TeeJayThis call was legit. It was from First National Bank of Omaha and they were verifying recent purchases. This is a new card to me so I'm glad they did this. Also, at no point did they ask me for my SSN or full credit card number. And no, I'm not a shill :-)

- Margaret HollandI received a call from Paul Elbert from the 800-877-7408 number saying that someone had opened an account in my name with Best Western awards. I told them it was not me , that I had not opened any accounts. The girl wanted to know my date of birth, etc.. If the are legit why would she need it, if I had just told her I had not opened any accounts, She did not need to any info on me , all she needed to do was delete it and not issue a card.. I told her that I did not give that information out on the phone . How do I know that she was not stealing personal information to steal credit cards.

- MikeLegitimate fraud department. They called. Left a message. I called back. Woman spoke perfect English. (my first clue) Told me the last four numbers of my card. Verified very little personal info. Went over some changes that I did not make. Then told me the date and place I last used the card. If you don't have a credit card through them, answer the phone and maybe you can explain to them and they will stop calling.

- NateGot a voicemail from a different number asking me to call this number back in regards to fraudulent charges on my credit card. I instead called the number on the back of my card and was forwarded directly to the fraud department where there were 3 charges to my account that I didn't make. Of the voicemail was a scam, it was very coincidental that I also had fraudulent charges on my card, so I'll go ahead and say it's legit, but always call the number on the back of your card.
