- BarryJust call them back and they will stop callling you. It cracks me up that you complain they call 30 times a day, I'm sure they "try" 30 times a day, answer and talk to them and they will stop. You did leave their store with the "promise" to pay them back, now apparently you don't have the money to follow through, yet you still have their jewelry and want to complain that they call, lol.
- DanielleIt's also Jared Jewelers. They call every single day, even after you make a payment.

- DanielleThey also called when I was in the hospital recovering from the birth of my son. Told them we were in the hospital and would appreciate not being called for a few days, so of course they called back less than 2 hours later.
- LB replies to AlfalfaYou may do this, but they still have a right to eventually sue you should you have a credit account with them and continue to not pay. Usually, once they receive this type of letter, they know you most likely will not be paying them or communicating with them, and that is often when the legal process begins on their end. Do not be surprised if the next communication you receive from them is written notice of a lawsuit. If you have an account with any of the jewelry companies they represent, it's best to talk to them. If you do not owe them anything, then by all means send a Cease Communication request.
I speak to you from experience in collections law. - Okc dawn| 1 replyJust got a new number from a guy who clearly owes everybody. This was some jewelry collection call. They were actually fairly nice as far as debt collectors go- yes I have my own debt so I know the drill- if this call doesn't pertain to u just call back and they will take u off the number list.

- Sheldon replies to Okc dawnI was in an area that had no cell service. When I finally got service I had 4 missed calls from these people, all 4 calls where within a span of 2 hours.
I listened to the message and found out it was some jewelry store or a collection agency for a jewelry store.
I know that I don't owe any jewelry store any money, so I called them back.
I informed them that the only people who have my cell number are family and close friends, and that I didn't owe any money.
She gave me the name of the person she was looking for, I never heard of the guy.
She told me she'd remove my number....RIGHT...they've called me 3 more times since then.
I've told them each time that they have the wrong number, but they must be deaf or dumb or both because the calls keep coming...JERKS! - CGI have been receiving calls from this phone number for a couple weeks now. I usually do not answer phone calls from numbers that I do not recognize. I finally called it back today, and it is Sterling's Corporate Office. They were looking for someone else, so they offered to remove my cell phone number from their calling list. Easy as that! I do have a credit card for one of Sterling's jewelry stores, but I haven't charged on it for years and it has a zero balance, so I knew they weren't trying to collect from me. As annoying as solicitation and collection calls are, it is still another human being on the other end just trying to do their job and earn a living! :)

- AntherIt's Jbrobinson / Kay Jewelers calling to let you know either something went wrong with a payment or if a payment has been delinquent. They weren't pushy and were helpful with correcting an error on the account.. I hope.

- RJDGot a missed call from this number, but the voice mail was automated from "your jewelry company" and left a different number to call back on. I called the "missed" number and found out it was Sterling, the parent company of Kay Jewelers. Just a reminder that my payment was due 7 days ago. My mistake, and I appreciate the call because they allowed me to make a payment then and there without any late penalties. I'm glad they called!

- JDThis is Kay Jewelers looking to collect payment. They are very nice though. If you are having a bad month, they can offer a reduced payment for "hardship". You would still be charged a late payment, but at least it will get them to stop calling you.
At least in my experience, they were pleasant, but they also noted that it's unusual for me to miss a payment, so it might be a one time deal that they offer this.- Caller: Kay Jewelers
