I know nothing ab about this call or who's calling. They call and hang up whp is this and what is it about

I got one of those calls today around 12pm. The due on the other end of the phone had what sounded to be an Indian accent.

there is indian guy he said they call frome mocrosoft they are bad people .do not answer them

I have a Mr. Number app on my phone. Based on the reviews here, I marked this 1-800 number as spam. So the next time they'll call, it will automatically hang up. Using this (Mr. Number) app, you also have the option to "block the call". I just opted to tag them as "spam" so the app will be able to tag it as spam and that other users will know of this info ahead without being bothered by this useless call at all...

I have been getting these calls for over a year now, and screw with them everytime they call today i finally got them to break and the guy called me "an American scumbag" repeatedly before i hung up.

Just received a call from 800-880-9889, send from Microsoft, my computer was sending out stuff and needed to take over to fix. Told him calling police because I knew it was a scam and that I didn't own a computer and he was surprised and I hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number I have told them I am on the list to stop calling yet all they keep doing is calling telling me my mircosoft has been compromised and I need to turn on my computer for them to fix it. But the phone number they are calling is not linked to that computer. How do I get them to stop calling me. They call me like 3 times a day and I have told them I am on the list. it is very annoying/

Called at 9:20 pm tonight. Answered only to tell them to stop calling, no one spoke.

I have been getting calls from this number with a man with a heavy Indian accent since May 6th. He calls daily even when I tell him to stop calling. Do not answer any more.

I just happened to have watched/listened to this video (link below) on YouTube days before getting a call from this number with "William" telling me he was calling about my computer. I resisted the urge to play along and just laughed and told him I had just read about this and that I had Linux. And then I hung up.

It's a scam attempt to gain remote access to your computer!!!

This number just called me. I told him I wasn't interested and to stop calling he said "I going to call you overnight at midnight and Jeff up your night" WTF these scammers...

There is a police report against me that claims that my ex-gfs father got harrassing and annoying phone calls from this number. I was arrested because of this and am still fighting my case. This is the kind of damage that such phone calls can have. I could have a criminal record because of this.
