they are a debt collection agency cash net usa told me they sold my account to them i do have a debt so i called the number to make payment arrangments but it always goes to voicemail there is also another number that calls me 414-376-6299 stating they own the debt and are very threatening say they are called federal recovery services i believe they are scammers they have some of my personal info so be careful the man that called me said his name was robert williams read all the posts about this scam

cash net usa does sell some of their debts to DMP (debt management partners).... but DMP is fishy and sells to third parties to collect... they claim to not be a collection agency but do deal with bad debts and supposedly do work with actually collection agencies

i dealt with them...real annoying

took 7 months to resolve something i paid directly to cashnetusa. Gave me the run around, so stupid

This past summer i took out a payday loan with CashNet USA. My account went into collections due to the fact I couldn't reapy all of it back by the due date. Several call were made to my cell phone from 1-800-883-9067. I answered once and it was a recording.. I would get at least 7 to 10 calls a day from this number and somtimes as early as 7am anyday of the week. So I this point I was thinking that it was just spam. The calls stopped for about 2 weeks, then this morning the day before Thanksgiving I recived a call at 8am in the morning from a number (716) 242-7580. This person told me that he was calling on behalf of CashNet and asked me if i had recived anything fron the county about being summed for court. I told him no, he proceeded tell me that i had two options to pay the loan in 2 large lump sums or i could pay 50% of the loan then contuine to make weekly payments now thru the end of Januray. He told me that if i was unable to do this that court proceedings would began and i would be summed today at my job and 40% of my wadges would be garnished..He said i would be held responable for all the court costs and if i didn't show up to court a warrent for my arrest would be out for bank fruad!?! Bank fraud because it was a loan and my bank account was closed. Closed by the bank not me for non payment due to all the fees they were charging me and there was no money in my account for anyone to take.. Has this happened to anyone else? I called cashnet and they said it sounds like a scam.. and not to give this person ANY INFO!  Is this just a cocky telemarker trying to use scare tactcs? He had me so upset and in tears and on top of all that was late for work due to this stupid phone cal!!

Im going through the same thing as you.  Were you ever summoned?  I had a woman call me at work from a "000-0" phone number stating that if I didnt call 1-888-261-4839 within 48 hours that she will come to my work at summons me for breach of contract and check fraud.  I am stressing as we speak debating if I should contact them or not.   Cashnet did say they handed my debt to DMP (third party), I will be contacting them shortly.  Please let me know if your wages were held or if you were summoned.

I attempted to contact this company today but received the voicemail as well. I too had a loan with cashnetusa and they stated that it was sold to DMP. I called them as well due to the fact that someone called Federal Check Processing was calling me from phone 202-742-7308 supposedly on behalf of DMP. I have yet to hear back from DMP to see if this is true.

I took out a loan win cashnetusa and ended up defaulting on the loan.  I got a very nasty phone call from an Investigator Adams today who threatened to get a warrant for my arrest for check fraud.  I made payment arrangements with him and then got to thinking that this guy was probably a scammer.  I am going to call and talk to someone at DMP and see if they have ever heard of the Federal Check Processing company that Mr "investigator" adams works for.  Just sounded really fishy to me after the initial shock of the phone call.  I know better and am really feeling stupid at this point.

I have been harrassed by the same people. I called Cashnet to be told they sold my debt to DMP. Called had to leave a message. I have been threatened by 2 yrs in jail for bad check according to Federal Check Processing. Also said they have my dl. which they are going to turn over to dmv. Guys keep all your voice mails and talk to a lawyer. Called mine today and going to see him tomorrow. He wants recorded messages. I agree. I owe and would pay to te correct people. I have never recieced any paperwork at all. Thought they have to send you a letter or paperwork within 5 business days after contacting you. Somehow they even got my ex-husbands phone# and left him a message that I had comitted draud. What happened to privacy???

Yes, Cashnet sent me a email saying the sold my account to them.  They have called me at work harrasing me.

CASHNET  SAY THAT THEY  SENT MY DEDIT FOR COLLECTION AGENCY DMP-- CALLED DMP AND THEY SAY THEY HAVE SOLD MY DEBIT TO A COMPANY CALLED AFB CALLED THEM BUT THE PHONE AUTOMATED VOICE TO CALL BACK--- I WANT TO PAY OFF MY DEBIT---SEEMS  THEY ARE NOT INTERSTED TO GET PAID--- WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE?

I got a call from Tomas Eberle saying that my account was sold to them by Bayside Cash. so I called bayside cash and was informed that my account was sold to Debt Management Partners and Bayside cash gave me a number to call. 18008839067 so I called the number and got a voicemail never received a call back. Tomas Eberle (Baxter Roth & Feinstein) called me from a 18557709855 number I asked could i pay through western union he said they didn't accept western union that i had to use a debit or credit card. He said that I owed 860 but he would settle for 715.52. and it had to be paid in full by today or I would have to go through an Abitrary Hearing. You can not go to jail for debt if that was the case jails would be overflowing with people because everyone has debt or has had it. I will be purchasing a pre paid credit card to pay this once I find out if they are legit or not. I will be having my attorney call before I do anything.

I got a call from Tomas Eberle.  He said if I did not pay the amount in full that I owe to Seaside Cash he would file a request for a arbitrary hearing and sue me for bank fraud.  I ask for something in writing and he got nasty and hung up on me.  Out of all of these posts and threatening phone calls has anyone ever actually been served and gone to court?

No they will not be filing any charge nor will they do anything if you don't pay them. The item isnt even on your credit report....

They are just trying to scare you into paying...They have a name to sound like a law firm but they are just another collection agency trying to make you think they are lawyers.

I called CashNet when I too received a call from a man saying  was with some type of lawyers referral agency or something stupid like that and they were going to send someone to my job and my home witin 72 hours and were charging me with wire fraud because of CashNet. I called CashNet and they informed me that my account was charged off and was sold to an outside agency for collection. If CashNet does all their own collections in house how come they informed me my account had indeed been sold AFTER it was charged off? She gave me the number to this place called DMP. So, I called it at 5pm. The answering machine picked up and said the office is now closed but was open until 530pm EST....wtf? It was only 5 when I called so they should have been open still. Now this man who called me told me that the debt was for $2500 but they would accept $625 and it would be considered paid. He even offered to do 3 payments to pay if off. I am really at a loss for words as what to do with this because he is threatening to put me in jail for wire fraud from this account which was back in 2008...and they are just NOW trying to get money. IDK what to do. He gave me until tomorrow to call him back or he said its out of his hands.

Have you been served with papers or anything as of yet? I have been getting calls from this same company making threats and all..... It has been going on for over a month and I refuse to give them a credit card or banking information. I told them I would mail them a money order but they wouldn't take it. they said only debit or credit card information. so i told them when you owe bills the collectors just want the money they don't care how you pay it THEY JUST WANT YOU TO PAY IT. he said they only take payments one type of way. He even offered to buy me a pre paid card to pay them. What bill collector does that? Let me know if you have any information

These people are interconnected somehow. They've threatened me through different companies, numbers, and locations, but they can't do anything because it is a scam. Fight back with every legal action possible.

Been getting calls from wooten benson and tate  they have been calling from several numbers saying longbeach ca and  kansas city .....they never leave messages but when i call from anotherv number they claim they are a law firm. is that true or just another collection agency trying to collect for a payday loan.

these people are calling me saying they are taking me to court on a 2007 payday loan - this is the first time i have heard from anyone about this - i asked them to forward me the signed contract but they say they can't send anything through email or mail - then they tell me they are sending court papers along with the signed contract through the mail - are these people allowed to do this - shouldn;t i be able to get a signed contract from them

I got calls form them allso. and I had a loan from 08... I just put them off and in a few MO I got papers at work and then they garned my check for way more than I owed cashnet! I will never use cashnet again.. I would have paid them if I could have..just had hard time doing so, then this wooten Tate people end up taking a huge chunk out of my check!   its BS!
