YES I RECIEVED SUCH CALL, AND WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL THEY SAID YES BUT YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK, SO THEY GET TO KEEP MY MONEY AND I GET NOTHING. THEY LED ME TO BELIEVE IT WAS A REGULAR UNSECURED CREDIT CARD WITH 5,500 CREDIT LIMIT.

The BBB report lists another number 877-536-0076 -- have you tried this? If you can't get your money back, call your bank, report the fraud, ask for your money back and replace your account.

A legit credit card charges the activation fee to the card and cardholders never have to pay it up front with cash. It is legal to sell shopping cards that can only be used at a few websites or catalogs but it is ILLEGAL to describe these cards as "credit" cards because they are NOT credit cards. If the EPC was described as a "credit" card when you were called, call your bank, report the fraud, ask for your money back and replace your account.

I too received a call from this express platinum card company. I tried to apply for a loan and then received a call from them. I wasnt surprised that they new my info because I was looking for lenders but was skeptical because NOBODY gets anything for free. After asking a hundred questions I accepted. Sigh! Did I make a mistake!? There is a website. I'm worried now because this is not a card that is affiliated with any company (visa, MasterCard, am.exp., ect.). How would I be able to use such a card when most if not all stores just take major credit cards? The $99 fee is due to be withdrawn on 2/3/12. I have yet to try and call but will try emidiately. THIS REALLY SUCKS!!! I'm trying so hard to repair my life financially.

The Gov does not "let" EPC run their scam anymore than the Gov "lets" the sun shine.

I am reporting this to my bank fraud department as soon as it opens, this appears to be a scam and my money has been debited from my account. I am a disabled veteran, I was told I would receive a card within 10 business days to use for buying clothing and grocery. There was 99.00 taken from my account, these scammers should be put before a firing squad, or do hard labor.
