Scott Evans wanted to leave a "personal" message for someone with the same first and last name as my husband. When I asked about the full name of the person that the personal message was for, I realized that it was not my husband. I was then accused of lying about the person the call was actually for. My husband called the number back, and convinced them that it would be a good idea not to ever call again. However, the "Scott Evans" that made the original call was not the "Scott Evans" who talked to my husband.

I work at a law office and someone from Berlin Wheeler just called and asked for one of my boss' daughter, I just said that she wasn't here and took a message. I text messaged her and gave her the number and she said that she didn't know who that was so that's when I came online to research the number. This guy's name is Nate McCoy. I'm not sure why he would have this number for her, this is her dad's office number.

U know we all have bills but i pay mine and Berlin Wheeler has been nothin but kind to me and my husband i wish all collection agencys could be like them....

i had a call from a bill foster and he was extremly rude. He talked down on me and constantly wanted to argue and and the kicker was that he actually hung up on me. When i call i ask to talk to some one else and i never want to talk to that F**ker ever again.

I just got a call from a Bill Foster when I checked my messages. The next day I called them and a lady asked me what was my name and number. I told her and she put me on hold. She then came back and told me that they have nothing with that name and number on record...
Hmm... *Scratches head* The question then is... how did they get my number? It was my cell phone and not home phone. And who is this Bill Foster and what account could he be talking about? I am 19 and have not opened up an account yet. WTF?

I have had several calls on my answering machine listing names that have nothing to do with my phone #   these people are not checking on who the phone # belongs to.

you know rick james and grannyme both of you are wrong.rick your wrong for calling people names..and grannyme how are the bill collectors narrow minded??? They do there job, whatever number is on the screen is what they call..i know that because i used to be a bill collector...when you have a job in that industry you have to be a "hard ass" because if you dont then people take advantage. but not all bill collectors are mean @ heart its part of the buisness, and when you have a family to feed and no other choice you take the job that you are given...so both you are narrow minded.

the 8008887243 keep ringing my phone off the hook

These people have called my number twice now looking for my boyfriend, looking to collect on debt. What debt, I'm not sure, since we don't owe on anything. So I called back and a girl answered. She asked for my account number but I told her I don't know what this was about. She took my name and number and put me on hold. A lady named Sherry Lee picked up and I told her that I would like to know what debt it was they are trying to collect on. She said she couldn't talk to me because I'm not my boyfriend. She asked for his number but I told her I wouldn't give it to her until I knew what this was about. She told me to have him call her, but we aren't calling back. We don't owe anything. These people are probably scammers.

Called and left a message for a person with the same last name as me but different first name...same initial. Looks like they are going through the phone book finding people. I only have my first initial and last name listed and I guess since it was similar they used that. Said it was a George Fischer from Berlin Wheeler and that if I continued to listen to the message (which um hello you'd have to do to get the number to let them know they have the wrong person) then you are verifying you are this other person. What BS. The bad thing is I got a call a week ago for another person and here awhile back I was getting them on my cell phone for some other person. What is up with them just random calling numbers? I've had this number for a very very long time now. Sounds like a bunch of scam artists.

A bunch of idiots scammers!!! They work for Kansasgasservice..they tell you that you owe like $1000 but they will settle for 300...does that mean you never owed the $1000!!!! what would they have done with all that extra money...DONT EVER MAKE A PAYMENT ON THE PHONE UNTILL THEY MAIL YOU A VALIDATION OF DEBT WITH THE AMOUNT OWED.

I received a call from this number on my work phone.  I returned the call and asked for the person who called me (Leah Larson) and they asked for my name and I gave it.  They then asked for my name again (which I thought was odd given that I had just told her that information) and the number she called initially to pull up the account.  I indicated that it was my work number that it was inappropriate for them to call me on that line and I said that she could just give me a call back when she figured it out.  

I am highly irritated and I still have no idea what this is regarding.  I don't like it one bit.

Sherry of Berlin Wheeler called today. She gave a CB number as 1-800-888-7243.
Said she wanted to talk to my friend, who does not live here, about "personal business".
Sherry LIED to me and said that "he gave her this number".

I noticed that some of the above posts are defending these bottom feeders.
They say it's "just business". Well, that's fine with me. I am also a "man of business". I don't work for FREE for Berlin Wheeler, or any other bottom feeder. They want me to do their leg work for them for FREE.
I'm not their MESSAGE BOY. And I don't WORK FOR FREE. :-)

I am writing for her as she is an elderly woman who is slightly alzhiemers and recieved a call and got confused but she was sure they had asked for me. I have never given out her number to anyone so while I kept her on the line I recalled the number. I found the "Doris Wells", to be quite elusive and refusing to answer my direct questions, and yet kept trying to continue her investigation. I decided to look up the number as I simply asked in what regards and what business Doris was in was completely ignored and realized it was a debt collector! So I tried to recall Doris Wells and was given the run around!Neither myself or the elderly lady are in debt or arears!
