This company keeps calling for Christine Nigro who was the previous resident at my home.  She doesn't live here anaymore.

You need to read previous posts. They will not stop calling anyone until you notify them in writing as a complaint or cease and desist. Expose these predators. They go by many deceptive names Alternate Business Names: C.C.C. Central Credit Control, Degarcia, Donald C. Donagher, Jr. Another predatory debt collector asking to contact them directly because they want to hide the fact of how they ignore all state and federal consumer protection rules, regulations, and laws. You do need to call them to find the reason why they're harassing and abusing you, family, and friends. 800-900-1381 calls after i'm in bed and several times a day

I posted on Jan 12.  I finally blocked this number on Jan 24 and they finally stopped trying (daily) on Feb 10.

Now (about 15 calls starting Feb 15 until today), I'm getting calls from "800 Service" (what caller ID says) again, but from a different number - 888-234-9939 [1].  I just blocked that number.  So we'll see what new number pops up next.

They have been calling everyday since it shows up on my caller id as 800 Service.  Never a message, so yesterday I was home and near the phone, when I answered there was a bunch of clicks and the phone went dead.  Probably some scammer using an autodialer.

After doing some research I have to agree that this is Penn Credit and Collections from Harrisburg, PA.  Their contact phone number for the collection department is 800-900-1380, and I had previously gotten called from 800-900-1382 several months ago where they identified themselves and were looking to collect a supposed medical debt.  Since I had a cancelled check for this debt in my possession I sent them a debt validation letter to which they have failed to respond to in a timely manner.  Now they are calling to collect this debt again without furnishing the required proof.  I think I could use some extra money so maybe I will sue them.  Guess maybe if I win it will not be so profitable to try to collect $40.00 alleged debts.  I wonder if i win if I will have to hire a debt collector to get my money from them?  That would be ironic!

Well this was interesting, about 45 seconds after I posted the last message my phone rings and it was this number.  It was a robo call, said the call was for (my name) and to press 1 if it was me.  So I pressed 1, it said it was a debt collector Penn Credit and Collections, blah, blah, blah.  Then it said it was collecting a debt for an unnamed client and the debt was $547.00.  Hmm, went from $40.00 to $547.00 wonder how that happened.  It wanted me to press 1 to pay the debt right away, or press 2 to make payment arrangements.  I neglected to press anything and it eventually said "Your Response Has Been Noted" and hung up.  Well now I guess I really do have a case against them.
Well let us see if they call again after this posting goes up.

I received a few calls with one voicemail for someone I don't know from this number.  I called them back and a lady answered with just a "Hello".  I told her the message I received and the name of the person they were looking for and she asked if I knew this person which I replied that I didn't know him.  She said she would remove my number.  She wasn't rude but did speak with authority. Hopefully they don't call back.

You called this number in search of a relative. Richard Clemmons, who resides in Florida. Along with his ex-wife. Demi Bornhoff Clemmons, and two children Chauncey Clemmons, and Morgan Clemmons. There is also a mother in law named Gwen Bornhoff of Nebraska.  I would appreciate it if you would not call my home. He is a grown man and I haven't seen him for 10 yrs. If you do persist in this action I will notify the proper authorities. This page will be saved for litigation. Also do not call my cell phone I will also call them, and notify them of your terrorists acts of bullying. I am disabled, but he is not, and not my problem. My mother is ailing with colon cancer, my father has prostate cancer, I WILL NOT HESITATE IN SUING YOU, CORRUPTING YOUR ALREADY TARNISHED REPUTATION, and ClAIMING THIS COMPANY AS THE GOVERNMENT OF THE U.S.A.

Many companies who have a phone number like 1380 or 1300 also own the other numbers in sequential order following that number, but are only listed as having 1380 since having hundreds of lines and listing each individual number would take up too much room in phone book, would be monotonous, etc, (Like 1380,1381, 1382, 1383, up to 1390 OR 1300, 1301, 1302, up to 1399, etc.)

This number has called twice in 3 hrs. After first call, I called number back and they were calling for an individual I do not know and I told them to remove my number. I have had the same phone number and address for over 20 years. 3 hrs later another call, I answered and got an automated message. I immediately called back and once again informed them they had a wrong number and I was told they would "try" to stop calling. At which point I informed them that I would "try" to refrain from reporting them for fraud and harassment and a violation of the fair debt collection act. I was hung up on. After filling this out, I will be filing a complaint with the FTC and since their business is located in the same state, a complaint with our attorney general's office.  Then maybe they will "try" harder not to bug me again.

Called twice within 15 minutes. I answered the second call. No response.

They call me just about once a week, and the guy on the other end keeps asking if I'm this particular person with outstanding debt. I informed him that I do not own any kind of debt seeing as how I do not own any cards with companies that create debt, not to mention, most of my stuff is filed payment under my moms name and she and I do not have the same last name.

I've told them many times to stop calling me because they keep bothering me during school hours. I need my cell for certain classes, I can't have them draining my cell battery or making my teachers think I'm texting.

buy a police whistle; when they call, blow as hard as you can. A few times of that, they should stop. If not, just turn on the phone and flip it over, continue with what you were doing; if they want to stay on for 30-60 min, that's their problem, they're paying for it.

1)This number called me.I guess that was about the fraudulent collection of FAFSA by the Northcentral University.I was not enable to study on the compass online website.They collected FAFSA and after  many months of online torture started requesting official documents for my admission and registration for the Doctoral program.Not being registered they declared me dismissed to cover up.I exhaustively explained this fraudulent non academic practice.I don't know the pleasure the get in disturbing me when I am already too disturbed by the above mentioned scams and other charlatans that I encountered.Sirs focus on collecting the FAFSA MONEY FRAUDULENTLY COLLECTED ON MY BEHAVE WITHOUT HAVING REGISTERED ME.
2) I went to the cook county hospital on the 2013/11/14 holding my complete medical file and CD obtained from a Dr Of the US Embassy in Cameroon.I had my application form for a substitute job that I wanted the Dr to sign based on my medical file attached.He was absent but the blocked my file in the office during the week-end.When I returned there nothing had been done.I took my official chest result to a Medical Dr in a different town.She inserted my CD in the computer,got my health result and signed my form free of charge because the data inserted on the CD by the Dr of the US embassy in Cameroon was current and indicating that I had extremely  good chest health.Surprisingly the charlatans started sending me letters upon letters requesting me to pay them fabulous some of money for a service they did not render.At Elmhurst School District the form that I wanted to have signed at Cook county hospital is there ,signed by a different medical practitioner from another town.If I  retrieve my form the Cook county Hospital fast and sought solution elsewhere .They sent me to their private clinic .I did not go there.It was just their plan of exploitation or to make me miss my substitute teacher employment.It is quite wrong to request payment for a service they did not render.Probably they are imagining that I WENT TO THEIR PRIVATE CLINIC WHERE THEY DIRECTED ME AFTER KEEPING MY APPLICATION FORM IN THEIR DRAWER FOR SOME DAYS.
The PennCredit had better remove my name from their system because of wrongful AND FRAUDULENT CLAIMS claims by the Navient/SALIMAE andJ.H.Stroger Physician svcs
