Caller claimed to be with Bank of America

I called this number back, they didn’t ask for too much information, it appears the call is legitimately BofA. They were just calling to see how their customers were doing. Due to the current climate of financial hardships, they just wanted to inform their clients they have programs available for those who might he struggling to pay their debts off.

This is 100% A SCAM CALL. They are NOT FROM BANK OF AMERICA. They ask you to call back at 800-918-8520 and you will be prompted to Enter your SS Number. DO Not Give them Anything this is a SCAM!!!

1 800 918 8520 phone ID said Bank of America she asked for my significant other since he wasn't
home and requested to leave a message I asked who should he ask for and she said just said call the office and someone would answer. I said no this is a scam call.

100% scam.  Called Bank of America back,  on the number on the back of my card not the number the scammers are using and B of A said these are scam calls.

SCAM CALL

Kept getting voicemails on my home phone saying this is BOA.  Something about it didn't sound right. I called the number on the back of my card and he said they've been getting numerous calls about this. Its a SCAM! Never call the number they leave you, call the number on the back of your card you know is a legit number to inquire about the call

100% a scam. Very, very convincing automated system that sounds just like the system used by the bank. Scammers are Americans, I hope they know their days are numbered, only a matter of time before they're tracked down.

Have gotten numerous phone calls as recently as today claiming they are Bank of America. I never answer and let it go to voicemail. They always want you to call back from a different number. Didnt sound right. Never called back. It is definitely a scam call.

Got numerous calls from this number.  I never answer but they leave message claiming they are from Bank of America.  They say they have some information that might benefit me.  This is a SCAM.

Called from (888) 729-7123 number, leaving a voicemail message that said I should call back using the (800) 729-7123 number. Did not leave any specifics, but why would ANYONE return such a call when they can't verify that they are legitimately talking to someone from Bank of America? Even the Bank of America text messages for multi-factor authentication codes say that they will NOT call you directly. Be smart and careful when you get these calls. They are always a scam (and at least they are a sales call).

Well apparently their days aren’t numbered because it’s been over a year since the last reply and I just got another call like this asking to call back at 800-918-8520

Received a call from 800-918-852. The person, Jessica asked to speak with my husband concerning a personal matter.  I asked if she could tell me, and said I wasn't on the account.  I then checked all our accounts, and everything is fine.  Suspect this is a scam.

Received call from 866-247-1112, voicemail left said it was Bank of America and they had my full name, was told to call back to 800-918-8520.  Called that back as a test and they ask for your full 9 digit social security #!!!! Huge Scam, please don't fall for it

Received a call from 866 367 3162, left a voicemail as if i called them and they couldn't hear me anymore. Said to call them back at 800 918 8520. Caller ID said bank of america. I always google numbers before calling so I did and found this. Called Bank of America from my card and they said nothing says they called me or needed to call me. This is confirmed a SCAM.

Recorded message, Indian accent, invited me to call back to "help me" pay off my debt but although I have a few BofA credit cards, all are 0 balances so these are scam calls. Hang UP! Call came in on 866-423-5049 line and I bounced to voice mail which told me to call 800-918-8520 back. DO NOT ANSWER - put these calls on ignore.
