- CrystalI received a text message saying my card was being used at Best Buy while I was at work and the card was in my wallet they called me from this number saying my card was being used in Texas and I’m from Georgia so I provided the information they needed and seeing that the number was in the chase website I felt confident giving them my information. They asked for my debit pin which they said didn’t work so to do other verification they asked for my social (which I know better than to give my social). The scammers added my card to their Apple Pay and said they would cancel my card and provide me with a new one in 24 hours. When I called chase to verify they said my card had not been canceled and no notifications were sent out to me. Now some random person has my social. turns out a scammer called and has the ability to change the way the phone call appears on my call log. Do not answer or give information to this number if they call hang up and call the number that’s on the website yourself and verify that there is actual fraud going on with your account.

- CC| 2 repliesI actually searched for this number and it does come up on the Chase website so it is one of their official numbers for checking and savings.
If i could post a screenshot i would.- Caller: JPMORGANCHASE
- Call type: Valid
- Tygerkat replies to CCIt may be a valid Chase phone number but that doesn't mean a call from it is actually from Chase. Scammers frequently spoof legitimate phone numbers.

- Lauren replies to WOW| 1 replyAlthough this is ten years later. Scammers have been able to call you through this number pretending to be Chase bank. Just happened to me. Don't give them any information.
- Tygerkat replies to LaurenYeah, it's called phone number spoofing.

- Dee replies to Theyhelpedme!| 1 replyI got 9 calls from this number today. When I finally answered they told me my card was being used in Miami. He starting asking questions, I hung up and called the 800 number on the back of my card. That fraud department showed no unusual charges on my account. While on the phone with Chase, I got a text about yet another charge attempt, which Chase again said was false. I think 9935 number is indeed suspicious. I locked my card and Chase is aware of what has happened. I don't think it's legit.
- TheToxicAvenger replies to DeeThis appears to be a relatively new crew of scamming scum operating out of the Orange county area. While they are using mostly foul smelling rodents to man their phones, the ring leader of this circus is definitely a white male with barely Simian intelligence. With this crew of Bozos, it's not will they be caught, just a question of when.
- JThey left a message in mandarin but they did say chase in English. Not sure what they needed or wanted since I can't understand it.

- LindaI've read through all of the callers comments. I also found a Fraud from Chase stating that yes the number is the same as theirs but scammers are phishing by using their number to make calls to people, like me, who have never had a chase credit card, checking account, or whatever. All they are trying to do is get personal information from you. So if you don't have any business through Chase, don't answer or call back. If you do have Chase than I'd still be wary if giving any personal information. Most banks, or lending institutions don't call to ask that.
