- mimi replies to james bucciIt is possible that somebody gave them your number or had your number before. It is just a computer. There is no one there to deliberately try and annoy you. I would recommend you call your local school system where you live and tell them to please remove your number from the system. They can do that.
- mimiI am currently a substitute teacher. This is the AESOP number for substitute teachers. It is 100% automated. There is no one to talk to at this number. My advice would be to call your local school board and ask them to please remove your number from the system. It is quite possible that somebody had the same number as you and moved away or deliberately gave them a wrong number. People do that sometimes to fool systems like SSI or unemployment to show that they looked for a job even though they don't really want one. Even if your local school board for your city isn't able to get you erased from this system, they will able to tell you how to reach a live human at AESOP. As a substitute teacher, I really like the system but can imagine it is quite annoying if you don't teach and don't want to be woke up at 5:00AM.

- BillMy pin number is correct it has been working for months and the website confirms that it is valid as well. However, when I receive a call from the 1-800 number I am unable to get through the login process and confirm a substitute job for the day because it says my pin is incorrect. Very frustrating (just started doing it this morning) as you can imagine. I want to sub and I am unable to. This must be a simple mistake. I am aware that you have to add a 9 infront of the four digit pin number. It has always worked and now is givng me difficulty. I really hope I can get some help with this that would be great!

- Sub in Texas replies to 860-347-9849| 1 replyYou do realize that they don't actually read this page and telling them to remove you here is going to do no good, right? I've seen that remark over 1000 times with other numbers, but the collection agencies and school districts and other businesses do not come to this site. You need to get in contact with them directly and tell them to remove your number from their list if it is in error. Just posting here is going to do no good.
I came to this site to find out who that number belongs to because I got a call just after 5 a.m. from them today. I'm still Student Teaching until tomorrow. I cannot sub until Monday. I thought they weren't supposed to call before 6 a.m., so I may need to adjust my call times to account for the fact that the system is in PA and not TX. - Sub in Texas replies to SarahCall your district and let them know that AESOP is calling you. The HR folks or your technology person should be able to assist you with that. Or just go into www.aesoponline.com/login.asp and put in your information, typically your phone number and whatever password you have set up and change the calling structure to one that cannot call you at all. You can adjust the hours it calls and set it to not call at all.

- Chemteacher replies to another teacherI am an old person too--older than you (57). People who posted above your post responded to this problem for you and you didn't heed their advice but chose to complain about your child's cellphone when called by this number which was affecting his discipline in his school. Simply put...cellphones are not needed in schools. Texting distracts from learning and a lot of times it is from the parent. Looking at your age, you and I seemed to have survived our high school days without it. With regard to the prior response, I taught for 35 years and if you think the world is going to sugar coat everything for you and your child, you are very wrong...Nowadays students are coddled and rewarded for things that we took for granted (like attending school). When they get into the "real" world, they have no idea that life just isn't that easy and job productivity does count. Hope the vibrations stop but seriously consider limiting your child's use of the cellphone.
- MagThis number keeps calling my house at 5:30 am then an hour later they call back to tell me they aren't going to call anymore. I really enjoy sleeping and would greatly appreciate it if this would stop!!! This is uncalled for if the county I sub for want to call me that is fine but a random 800 number calling me is just unnecessary.
