An automated message said they are 'GE Money' and to call this 8009456596.

Have received numerous calls from this "blocked number- GE Capitol Corp". Can't find any info on them as I believe the name to be bogus. GE has a Capital credit service that is different than the one calling.
The message is always the same- not directed at any specific person and is supposedly regarding American Eagle credit. I do not have a credit card with AE.

Don't give these people your social security number- no company uses that as the only way to verify your identity. These people are identity thieves preying on the trusting.

Received a voice mail from 1-800-945-6596 8:00 p.m. from GE Money asking that I return the call, but when I returned the call the recorded message asked, "to enter your account number as it appears on billing statement."

This 800 number is calling me morning and night every day and driving me crazy! Apparently there is no way to block a number from calling your cell. It is the same GE Money Markets call as mentioned above.

The automated call has a greeting that they are G E Money and want information about someones HSN account. I called a different HSN number to report it and they said that they would mark my number as "Do not call". That must not have worked because I received another call from this number today.

They are calling my house and my cell phone day and night....I am not behind on any payments for any of the cards they list. Does anyone have a way to make them stop!!!!!!!!!!

This number is calling me day and night, every day as well.  It hangs up on me every time I attempt to answer it.  So, I tried calling it back.  Like "Illinois" above, the recorded message asked, "to enter your account number as it appears on billing statement."

It seems to be bogus.  This followed a bizarre call from someone claiming to call me about my "Comerica" account.  I don't have any accounts associated with Comerica.  This is happening while I'm in the process of changing an account where someone stole the account number and is running around Philadelphia buying hundreds of dollars in gas.  They also attempted to buy something at a Wal-Mart for $315.  I'm actively working with the credit card company to block these transactions.

This number has also been calling me day and night, hanging up on me, and the recorded message is always the same, "enter your account number as it appears on the billing statement". again, i have no idea, but am relieved to see that other people have figured out it's a bogus/scam kind of thing.

They keep calling me...3 or 4 times this morning. The recorded message asks for the billing number. I pressed "0" which took me to an operator. (The recorded voice sounds just like a regular professional message stating this call may be recorded...and it mentions for security and courtesy purposes. I've never heard of "for courtesy purposes". Whatever. ) Immediately the operator states some company name and asks for my social security. I told them nobody asks for that number and why are you calling me. She then asked for my phone number. I told her no. I'm not giving this information to you because you are a bogus company and are trying to steal financial information. She said I can't help you if you don't give me a phone number. I told her you guys called me...and you keep calling me.  I don't want your help. She hung up on me. The next time they call, I'm going to blow a whistle in the mouthpiece. :)

made a tax time settlement and that was two years ago. I am still fighting with them to close my account and stop sending out to other credit collection agencies. I get at least four calls a day for an account that was paid of and closed two YEARS AGO!!!! Please, make tham stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls several times a day starting in the morning at 8:00 and every hour until 11:00 then in the evenings sometimes.  Hangs up when answered.  I just let the machine get it.  It would be nice to have automation call all of the employees of the [***] company doing this from 1:00am until 6:00am every hour their local time.  ;>

These people call 4 or 5 times a day. I do not have, nor have I ever had an association with this company. Apparently being on the DO NOT CALL registry makes no difference to these a**h****

So far 6 calls this morning (Sunday before Christmas)& showing up as "Unkown Name" on CID & no message has been left yet.

I called this number.  They also asked for my social security number....how ridiculous...of course, I said no.  Then they asked for my phone  number and name......I gave it to them to just get the information.  It is AMERICAN EAGLE!!!!!   I owe them a $40 payment and they have called me endlessly day after day at all hours.  I told them that I am CLOSING that account and will NEVER shop there again.  I am informing American Eagle of their tactics also. I told her how many times they have called and to stop calling me!!!   Good luck to you all!

These people do not stop even when they are getting your payment through the debt management proposal that they accepted.  They lie and say they didn't accept the proposal when it is in your hand the letter saying that they did.  AND they tell you that you better pay up or they will close your account....WHO CARES....I did that myself when we had our unfortunate financial issues.  I hope that if what happened to our family ever happens to them they get treated in a more humane manner....sometimes bad things do happen to good people...believe me I would rather have paid my AE bill than use that money for medical and then funeral bills.  They have no sympathy.

They call me constantly and I just ignore it, but it is my cell phone and it irritates the heck out of me.

Those are the companies I have been able to figure out who are owned by GE money services.  They will not stop calling, even though I have told them over and over again that they have the wrong number AND it is my cell phone!

800-945-6596 is calling my cell phone incessantly.  Bogus.

1-800-945-6596 IS FAKE! i just contacted the real GE money through American Eagle and they dont have such a number.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL WITH YOUR INFO! i have been getting about 10 calls per day from them, but i reject the call on my cell.
