- Ian Lyngklip replies to Robert SummerfordIf you are receiving autodialer calls to your residential phone, the first thing you need to do is to let them know in writing that you do not consent to these calls and demand that they cease communications with you. I have posted sample letters on my web site’s law library. http://www.sue4abuse.com/library.html. Just make sure to include your phone number in the letter. This will be the only way they can identify you if you are not their customer.
After you have done that, and if the calls don't stop, you may be able to pursue them for violations of the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act). This is the same statute that is used to sue junk fax companies. The statutory damage award is $500 for each call and $1,500 per call if they have violated the statute wilfully. Your state's collection practices act may have additional prohibitions and remedies which are applicable to your situation.
Your best option may be to have an attorney help get their attention or pursue claims under the either the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

- TN_SWeetheartI have received numerous calls from this number. They never leave a message and when I call the number back there is no company name just "credit services" and they ask for an account number. Without entering an account number I have been unable to get past the automated system.
- John replies to redgatorYou're an ass. You act like no one ever calls the wrong number. Guess what, if I was Michael Spader (who they keep asking for), obviously it would be a different story. Check your facts first, [***].

- WillFrequent calls (3 or 4 daily) on my home (landline) phone. I don't answer; they don't leave messages. -- Recently, when I don't answer, there's an immediate call to my cell, too. I don't answer that one, either! Nuisance calls!
- ForrestThis company is very annoying. I send them to google voice mail and log every single call, they have called me 150 times this last week. I get a call from them about 15 times a day. I when i use my cell phone its always mobile to mobile cause of ATT's new plan. this company has ran me at almost 400 minutes anytime use on a cell phone, cause they let the voice mail go the full 3 minutes everytime they call. I am going to see about getting them blocked in some way.
- Caller: GE Money

- rockyThey just called me, saying someone had opened a paypal acct in my name and I owed $966. Asked for my ss#. I am filing a police report.
- sidesMy boyfriend has been called two days so far by this number. Just went through all 8 pages of comments on this site, and to anyone who thinks this is a legitimate collection agency calling, you're wrong! In 2008, they called people stating they were representing American Eagle, then Paypal, Banana Republic, Lens Crafters, Amazon and so forth as the years have gone by, changing who they are representing each day. Real companies would not hang up on you or ask for your social security number when they answer. Even if you owe a real company money, do not fall for this number. They even called while I was reading about them. Almost accepted the call! Creepy and fake. Wish they'd stop.
- Joseph Kellythis number calls my house every day, three times a day on both my home & cell phone. Very annoying.

- MIke406I have a Lowes card and a Paypal smart connect and Summit Racing... All of these are Ge money accts. I am current on all of my accts. Yet the 800# calls me and hangs up, morning noon and night it calls me and hangs up. Just today I answered and was asked to hold for the next available rep, she said hello and that she was retrieving my records based on the phone number I was calling from (They called me) Then she hung up!! I don't know what to make of it. One of the Ge accts. had to have reported me as late to the collection agency. When they see that I am current they simply hang up, then the server calls me back and connects me to another available rep who does the same thing. I am looking for a way to block the number.
