- Elizabeth BertaniOver the past 24 hours, I've received three calls from this number. No message was left at any time. This morning, I called the number and was asked to enter my account number. HUH? I have no past due bills, nor was there any indication what these calls are about.

- Darryl replies to BDo not give them any information this is a Scam, they have called my house repeatedly, one call asked for my wife and I asked them what is this in regard to and the person said that it's just business I told him you call my house and ask for my wife and can't tell me who you are or what you're calling for don't ever call my house again, 25 minutes later I receive another call from this number I call back and a woman with an indian accent tries to tell me that the company is GE capital and a debt is owed, I told her that I don't have any business dealings with GE capital and that if they continue to call my home the were going to go to jail , this is a scam
- SharonThey began calling my house and cell phone number about a month ago. They call five or six times a day. Today I answered it, and they refused to tell me what they wanted. I have both my numbers on the do not call registry. This is disgusting.

- DaveIt's GE Paypal credit, calling for payments on a payal credit card. Every month tehy start calling the same day the payment is due. Because of that I make it the last bill I pay.
- Caller: GE Paypal
- Call type: Debt collector
- CB replies to slappy| 72 repliesI don't think they are calling for a leisurely chat. Perhaps if people paid their bills these companies would not have to call.
- DavidWe have received 4 calls from this number today alone (in the past 4 hours). This number has been calling numerous times daily for the past couple of weeks. I answered the latest call today after seeing this number on a couple of websites and was greeted with a man looking for someone I've never heard of. I quickly asked who was calling instead of immediately stating that he had the wrong number. The caller stated his name (couldn't quite make it out) and that he was from Old Navy. I asked him to repeat it and he said (loudly) OLD NAVY, YOU KNOW, THE STORE!
I told him he had the wrong number. "Oh, ok man." He hung up.- Caller: Old Navy
- JohnD replies to CB| 20 repliesMaybe if you knew what you were talking about instead of assuming.

You should really watch what you say when you don't know anyone's situation that you're saying it to!

- dartkeep getting calls from this number, I do not have any outstanding bills
- Kat825 replies to JanI got tired of them calling because I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, so I waited and talked to them and what they are is a credit company trying to get you to LOWER YOUR INTEREST RATE by combining all you credit cards on theirs.......BUT, the catcher is, you can not use your credit cards until every balance is paid off. Heck, you can do that yourself without paying another person interest.
- Not upsetLook, most of the time these are calls to collect a debt. If you don't have their card, they may be calling because you're listed as some other deadbeat's contact or next-of-kin. GE covers a ton of different companies' in-house accounts: HSN, Amazon, American Eagle, etc. If you don't believe they have a claim against you, suck it up, call them back, and ask for proof of the debt. If they can't produce it, with a paper copy or invoice to back up their claim, ask them nicely to cease calling. Send a letter requesting in writing via certified mail. If they continue to call you have grounds to take legal action. However I'll bet once you call, you'll find it's legit; for me, I missed my Amazon payment and they called to see if it had been sent. No big deal as I paid it online that day. It's not worth getting crazed about.
